Chapter 200
The beaming sun shone down brightly in the large, landscaped garden of the magnificent mansion, the giant willow trees casting magical shadows across the lush green lawn which would move ever so slightly every now and then from the light, cool breeze that was gently whispering through the air. You would never have guessed that the enormous house was sat only 15 minutes outside of Newcastle’s bustling city as the rolling hills that were covered in bright yellow flowers surrounded the property, making it seem like there was nobody for miles and miles around. The only sounds to be heard were the melodious tunes from the birds flying from tree to tree, the soft sounds of sheep bleating in one of the fields nearby and a high pitched yapping every so often from the two tiny Chihuahuas that were playing together by one of the vibrant flowerbeds, knocking sprinklings of purple petals to the ground. There was a deliciously, inviting smell of pork roasting that was filling the air and making the two tiny dogs noses twitch each time the scent swept out of the open French patio doors from the amazing marble kitchen, making them pause to sniff the air before continuing to roll around together, playfully fighting.
The peacefulness was almost trance like, as if the entire property was enclosed in a glorious bubble that kept all negativity out and all that mattered in the world was what happened inside the protective sphere. Another sound was suddenly added to the playlist of calm, gentle tones as a soft crunching of gravel could be heard from Tre wandering up the sweeping, sandy coloured path that wound around the garden, passing the tranquil pond that held a number of bright orange fish and an abundance of water plants, a beaming smile on his face as he approached a swinging, wooden bench hanging underneath a large tree which was coated in stunning lilac flowers. The reason for his extreme happiness was the sight his eyes were gazing at; the sight of his gorgeous fiancée, who had her long, dark brown hair cascading over one shoulder like a waterfall, standing out against her light yellow dress as she cradled a pale pink bundle in her arms, gazing down at what was inside.
“How are my two favourite Princesses?” he sweetly called as he approached her, making her tear her gaze away from the tiny bundle in her arms, taking his breath away by her dreamy, chocolate coloured eyes and glowing dimples that lit up her whole face as she smiled up at him before he sat next to her, softly kissing her forehead as he did so.
“I can’t stop looking at her...she’s so beautiful...” Cheryl beamed, looking back down amongst the pink blankets which cushioned a peacefully sleeping newborn baby girl; she had the longest, darkest eyelashes you could imagine, the softest tanned skin and although she was fast asleep, a pair of faint dimples sat at the bottom of her cheeks, waiting for a smile that would make them glow just like her mothers.
“She’s perfect...just like her mom” Tre grinned as he carefully pulled the blanket away from her tiny body, revealing a pretty white dress that had small pink flowers scattered around, enhancing her bronze coloured skin.
“Mam...not mom...haha” Cheryl giggled quietly, making Tre start chuckling too, biting his bottom lip as he mouthed the word “sorry.”
“Haha...this poor kid is gonna have the most messed up accent, isn’t she?...I want her to have yours!” he smirked, softly stroking the tiny baby’s arm with the back of his finger, not being able to get over how small she was.
“ Yeah, I want her to as well!...haha” Cheryl cheekily replied, laughing as Tre gasped, pretending to be shocked and playfully nudged into her. “Haha...I’m only messing...I wouldn’t mind her talking like you...you sound cute...but its mammy not mommy” she raised an eyebrow at him as he smirked back, nodding his head.
“Deal!...haha...ok, so before everybody arrives, I’ve got you both something...” he announced as he reached down to pick up a small pink gift bag as Cheryl smiled back, watching him, wondering what he had done.
