Third Person Point of View:
"We have to go." Fennec quietly whispered to Din. "Boba Fett is waiting down below, we will take you wherever you need to go. But right now you need to salvage anything from your ship."
Din didn't care about the Razor Crest. Din didn't care about anything at the moment. He looked down at Calyptra's face, hoping to see some sign of breath or something, but there was none. This made him hold the woman closer to him, wanting to keep her warm. "I'm not going to leave her here."
"I don't expect you to. We could all tell how much you cared for her." Din couldn't help but wince at the past tense of care that she used. Din laid her back on the ground before removing his cape and draping it over her body. He felt sick upon seeing how quickly her neck had started to bruise. "I will be back for her." Fennec nodded her head at the Mandalorian's words knowing that he would keep it. "I will stay with her." Din gave the woman that was now covered with his cape one more glance before walking down the mountain.
Her dimple on her left cheek when she smiled.
Her laugh that she would sometimes snort through when something was really funny.
Her sarcasm that she would give him when she was annoyed.
Her cheeks that would turn read when he would purposely tease her.
He nose that would flare whenever they were in an argument.
Her love that she had for Grogu.
Her small hands that she would hold his with.
Her courage even when things seemed to be headed for the worse.
Everything about her haunted him.
Din couldn't think straight as he traveled down the rock side. He made his way where the Razor Crest was only to stop upon seeing his jetpack. He bent down, picking up the jetpack before he reattached it to his back. He looked up only to freeze upon seeing something shine behind some shrubs. He walked forward only to stop once he realized what it was.
It was her bow.
Din clenched his first together before he knelt down, grabbing onto it. The object felt foreign in his hand as he had never held it before.
"Mythrol move it or the first arrow I shoot will be at you." Din quickly picked his head up, knowing it was her voice. Was she alive? It wasn't until he looked around that he realized he was in fact alone. It was his mind that was playing tricks on him. He shook his head, trying to clear it.
"Are you okay?" He heard her voice echo around him causing him to hit himself against his helmet. She had only been gone for a matter of 10 minutes and he was already losing it. Din continued to walk as he saw Boba Fett near the ashes of the Razor Crest. Boba Fett gave Din a nod as Din handed him Calyptra's bow. Din didn't return back to nod, peaking Boba Fett's interest. This made Boba Fett's mind wonder to if something had happened, he was aware that the Empire took the child but that was it.
Din walked the ashes of the ship, looking for anything that he could use. That was when he came across the beskar spear that Ahsoka gave him.
"I can't accept this." He said shaking his head at Ahsoka.
"Well, I can." Calyptra spoke with a smile on her face.
Din closed his eyes tightly at the memory. He'd give anything to go back to that moment. Back when she was smiling, when she was alive. Din continued his search through the ashes. Right when he was about to give up, assuming that all he'd get was the spear he saw something. He knelt down towards the object, dusting it off. There at his finger tips was the beskar ball that the child loved to play with.
