"I can't believe when I'm finally heading back there you guys are leaving," Madison whined as she and Evaline talked through FaceTime the last week of May.
"I know, but we really wanted to get up to Alaska so his family can meet Cara properly," Evaline replied as she folded laundry.
"How long are you staying?" Madison questioned.
Looking guilty Evaline told her they'd be staying the entire month, "Because we have to quarantine before we see anyone," she explained, "And then we're heading to Maryland to see my dad and Jen for a bit. Chase and Maddie are supposed to meet us there and then after that Rudy and I are heading down to Charleston to see about buying a house with my inheritance money."
"So you'll be in Charleston when?"
"Should be first week of August," Evaline confirmed. "Well then I'll make sure I'm out there too visiting Mariah when you three get down there," Madison told her as Evaline nodded.

"So uhhh......what do you think of Mariah?" Madison questioned as she looked at Evaline through the phone.
It had been a few days since Evaline had met the girl through FaceTime and she honestly wasn't sure what to say, "I don't know," she replied shrugging, "I think I need to meet her a couple more times before I can say."
"She's just really shy," Madison responded quickly, "Believe me once you get to know her she's much more open."
"I look forward to getting to know her," Evaline offered.
"Good, cuz I really like her and I really need you to like her too," Madison told her.
Smiling Evaline nodded, "If you like her Madison then I'm sure I will too. We'll just have to zoom or something a few more times so we can get to know each other."
Smiling brightly Madison agreed before changing the subject, "So how's everything with you? You seem kind of down," she observed.
Shrugging Evaline chewed on the inside of her cheek, "It's just this stupid internet. How mean people can be. I mean like 95% of the people who respond are really very kind and positive, but that 5%," she trailed off.
"Are assholes?" Madison finished for her. Smirking Evaline nodded, "Are assholes," she repeated.
"I know. I was thinking maybe of going public with Mariah before I leave here next week. Maybe it'll take the pressure off of you and Rudy," Madison said.
"That would be nice. Maddie said something similar about her and Chase too since they got the go ahead from Sherri," Evaline told her, "Elaine's deathly afraid to let people know about her and Drew after seeing some of the comments made about me."
"Chase and Maddie aren't going to be much of a shocker everyone knows they're dating anyway," Madison laughed, "For being really good actors they can't lie for shit."
