"Geez, you weren't kidding about this place," Evaline said as Penny stopped the grocery cart before a mother with two kids hanging off her cart plowed into them. Sighing Penny just gave her a look as she maneuvered around the aisle, "Just stick close. They're liable to take out a pregnant woman too."

Evaline was gathering what she'd need to make her cake when there was a loud shrill voice calling Penny's name. Glancing up at the woman coming their way Evaline saw Penny discreetly roll her eyes before plastering a fake smile on her face.
"Penny, honey it's so good to see you," the woman exclaimed pulling her into a hug.
"Belinda, it's nice to see you as well," Penny returned the greeting as she pulled away from the overbearing woman. Placing the things she'd need for the icing into the cart Evaline smiled at the woman.
"And who is this?" Belinda questioned, looking Evaline up and down. "This is Rudy's girlfriend, Evaline. They came home for the holiday," Penny answered, "Evaline, this is Belinda. Her son used to play soccer with Rudy."
"Hello," Evaline greeted as the woman raised her eyebrows and turned her gaze back to Penny.
"I didn't know you were going to be a grandmother and Rudy a daddy," Belinda exclaimed in fake delight.
Shifting awkwardly Evaline opened her mouth to correct the woman when Penny cut her off, "Our family has been blessed this year with the addition of Evaline and the baby," she stated, "We can't wait till she's born especially Rudy."
"Oh, it's a girl? Gosh, I wish I would've known I would've picked up a little welcome gift," Belinda remarked.
"As sincere as I'm sure that would've been I can assure you I have everything I need for her, but thank you for the sentiment," Evaline spoke up as Penny smiled.
"We should actually get going, but it was lovely to see you Belinda," Penny stated as she started to move the cart around the woman, "Please tell Ross and Adam we say hello."
"Yes, it was lovely to see you too," Belinda returned, "Tell Rudy congratulations on the baby and I hope to see him act in something soon."
Narrowing her eyes Evaline opened her mouth but was once again cut off by Penny, "Actually he's one of the main characters in a Netflix original. It'll be out in April," Penny told her, "I hope you can tune in and I hope Adam's doing well in rehab. Please wish him well," she stated before pushing the cart out of the aisle with Evaline biting her lip to keep from smiling.
