"Holy fucking hell. Why is it so cold out here?" Madison moaned. Laughing Evaline pulled her coat tighter around herself, "I know. Those 100 degree days are looking mighty nice right about now," she replied, "It wouldn't be so bad if the wind would stop."
"The wind is ignorant," Madison stated.
"It's a little crazy the last week before wrap up we're dealing with record lows," Brad mentioned as he handed Evaline a camera case. "Yesterday it was like 70 degrees. JD said today isn't supposed to get out of the 40's," Madison complained.
"The rest of the week is supposed to be the same," Evaline told her as they followed Brad to the field to set up. "Ugg, don't tell me that," Madison grumbled, "I'll catch up with you in a bit I'm going to go see if makeup has anything for the snot dripping from my nose," she said, before running off.
Evaline was in the middle of helping Brad with setup when Rudy found her.
"Why do you not have gloves on?" he asked, taking a pair of gloves out of his pocket and handing them to her. "I can't handle the film wearing gloves," Evaline told him, shoving them into her coat pocket.
"Well put them on when you can," he told her, "I've gotta get over there and run the scene before we start. Here take my coat," he told her taking his coat off. "Rudy I'm not taking your coat," she said.
"I'm about to do a scene. I don't need it so take it till I'm done," he insisted holding it up for her. "I'm only taking it because I'm freezing," she said, slipping her arms into the oversize coat.
"You're gonna do well in Alaska," he told her sarcastically before kissing her and running off to where the others were gathered.
"I'm invited to the wedding, right?" Brad asked as he loaded film.
"What?"
"Your wedding," Brad repeated, "I call making a toast. I can tell everyone about the summer you two fell in love," he told her. "I think you're getting ahead of yourself," Evaline told him.
"Maybe. Maybe not," Brad said shrugging, "I do know however that you two remind me of my wife and I and we're going on twenty-five years," he told her, winking.
Shaking her head Evaline pulled out the gloves Rudy had given her and put them on as she turned around and sighed, "He's gonna fall and break his face."
