Pulling up to the unloading zone of the Charleston airport Chase pulled his jeep over putting it in park before hopping out, "I'll get your bags," he told them as Rudy helped Evaline out of the jeep.
Rolling Evaline's suitcase around to the passenger side Chase handed it off to Rudy before going back for their backpacks. "Alright you guys have a safe trip," Chase told them as he handed their backpacks to them.
"Thanks for driving us," Rudy replied as he hugged him. "Have a safe trip home too. Tell everyone hello," Evaline told him, "And don't forget their picture," she reminded him.
"Yeah I'll probably forget," he responded. "Which is why I told Maddie about it," Evaline retorted, "And while you're at it make a move already, big brother, before she gets smart and moves on."
"Shut up. I hope you have a horrible trip," he replied as she laughed sticking her tongue out at him. "If you two are done we have a plane to catch," Rudy cut in. "I'm not going to be able to insult him for two weeks. I don't know what I'm gonna do," Evaline exclaimed dramatically.
"You're such a brat," Chase said climbing into the jeep. "You're gonna miss me," she yelled waving. Putting the window down he glared at her, "Maybe a little," he yelled back before flipping her off and driving away.
"I think I'm growing on him," Evaline declared, taking Rudy's hand as he led them inside the airport. "You know you two love each other," he said walking over to a kiosk to check in.
Once they printed their boarding passes they stepped over to the counter to check their suitcase and then headed down to security. "You know when we fly with her I'm gonna have to find out how to take formula and stuff on the plane," Evaline commented as they got in line.
"Maybe they'll have some information about it. We can ask when we get up there," he told her.
Making it through the line for security took less then fifteen minutes. After sending their bookbags, shoes, and Evaline's shoulder bag through the conveyor belt to be scanned they walked through the metal detectors to pick up their stuff.
On the way Evaline asked about flying with a baby and was handed a pamphlet from the less then enthusiastic TSA agent.
Taking their stuff over to the seating area on the other side of security Evaline was busy rezipping their bags as Rudy put on his shoes. "Give me your foot," he told her holding up her sneaker.
Leaning back on the seat Evaline lifted her foot as he put her shoes on for her, "You're the best," she teased. "Well it took you ten minutes this morning along with some very impressive swearing so I figured I'd save you some time and energy," he replied.
"Let's go find our gate and then we'll get some snacks," he told her pulling her up and taking both backpacks.
