"The beaches down here are beautiful," Penny voiced as she and Evaline sat on the beach together, "Actually the whole area here is very pretty."
"I know. I wouldn't mind staying in this area permanently," Evaline told her. "I certainly wouldn't blame you. Alaska's warmest month is around 70 degrees," Penny shared.
"Rudy's shown me pictures of Alaska. It looks gorgeous," Evaline mentioned. "I would love if you two could make it home for Thanksgiving," Penny told her, "Obviously you won't be able to travel for Christmas, but we could celebrate in November with the family."
"I'll have to check with the doctor to see if it's okay for me travel," Evaline told her, "If she says it's okay then I don't see why we couldn't come up."
"You'd actually be in the last week of when they recommend pregnant women to travel," Penny told her, "I took the liberty of figuring it out. I really want you two to come visit," she admitted.
Laughing Evaline assured her they'd come if they could.
After spending a few hours out on the beach the group headed back to the apartment where they cleaned up and prepared for everyone to arrive for Rudy's birthday.
The first to arrive where Chase and Maddie. "Evaline, this cake," Maddie exclaimed, "Chase told me you were good, but I didn't think it would be this good. I'm sorry I underestimated you," she said, hugging Evaline.
"It's okay. Honestly I'm surprised Chase even told you that. From what I remember he refused to eat anything I made," Evaline replied, looking over at her step-brother, loading beer into the fridge.
"And give you an even bigger head then you already had," Chase responded, with an eye roll, "Doesn't mean I didn't sneak down in the middle of the night to steal a piece though."
"You two are so ridiculous," Maddie stated. "It was the principle of the matter," Chase laughed opening one of the beer bottles before handing it to Maddie and taking one for himself.
Hearing the doorbell Evaline told the two to head out to the balcony where Rudy and his parents were before going to answer the door. Swinging the door open she found Madison and JD, "Hello, Pretty Girl," Madison squealed hugging her. "Gorgeous," Evaline greeted back.
