Breathing in the cold fresh air Evaline blew out a breath as she leaned against the railing on the back porch of Rudy's childhood home.  Not long after seeing his family off for the day he'd come back downstairs and had woken her up for the day in a way that put her in a very good mood.

On top of that they'd decided to conserve water and had spent a leisurely amount of time in the shower together before finally getting dressed and coming upstairs to eat breakfast.  Clutching the mug of hot chocolate she took a sip as she looked out over the Alaskan wilderness.

"There you are.  What are you doing out here?" Rudy asked coming out onto the porch with her.  Glancing over her shoulder she smiled, "This place is so beautiful."

"It's also cold and you don't have a jacket on," he retorted.  "I have my sweater on," she countered, "Did you find a picture I can use?" she asked.

"Yeah, it's inside," he told her, "Whenever you're ready we can go into town to the art supply store and I thought we'd walk around downtown."

Draining the rest of her mug she smiled, "I'm ready," she said heading back inside to the kitchen.  Placing her mug in the sink she picked up the picture of Rudy's parents on their wedding day and studied it, "If I can get this drawn tonight I can spend the next few days painting it while they're at work.  I should have it done by the weekend," she told him.

"Well let's get going Pretty Girl," he said taking her hand and leading her out to the car his parents had left for them to use.

Driving into town Evaline stared out the window, "We're going hiking, right?  I wanna see this place from like every angle

Driving into town Evaline stared out the window, "We're going hiking, right?  I wanna see this place from like every angle."

"There's an easy trail we could do.  I was thinking we could go Saturday with everyone," he replied, "There's some things I want to show you in town today."

After parking the car they set out into the town.  "So this is Creek Street," he told her, "You see that house over there, Dolly's?  It's a museum about a prostitute."

"Shut up

"Shut up.  It is not," Evaline responded.  "It totally is.  This whole street was like the red light district back in the day.  We can go in and take a tour if you want," he replied.
