"You know I didn't think this thing would be so comfortable," Evaline commented as she lounged on the ratty old couch that was being used as a set prop. "Yeah I've caught Chase taking naps on it," Rudy told her, tossing her a bag of chips from where he sat on the set recliner.
"You sure you don't want to go back to my trailer where it's air conditioned?" he questioned as they ate lunch together on the porch of the house they were using in the series.
"I'm good," she answered, "I like being down here near the water. It's peaceful," she told him glancing out towards the marsh behind the house, "But if you'd rather go back to your trailer you totally can. I know it's hot out here."
Taking a sip of his water he shrugged, "I'm fine," he replied.
"Good lord. There you two are," Chase called walking across the yard with Maddie at his side. "We weren't hiding," Rudy laughed as they came up on the porch.
"Evaline, we need you in wardrobe," Maddie told the girl, pulling her up from the couch. "For what?" she asked. "You'll see," Maddie answered, "Come on," she said tugging her off the porch and across the yard towards the wardrobe trailer.
"What in the world am I needed for in wardrobe?" Evaline questioned as the two girls entered the massive trailer.
"Okay, don't freak out and just hear us out," Maddie told her as they found Madison, Elaine, and Lilah, the director's daughter, waiting for them inside.
"So Jonas had to cancel the scenes for today, something about the dog not being available. Anyway, he said if we want to stick around and swim in the marsh we could since we have to be back here at dark for our scenes later," Maddie told her.
"Okay," Evaline said, looking at the girls confused. "Well Emmie, our wardrobe mom, said we can choose any of the swimsuits to use to swim at the marsh this afternoon," Madison told her, "And we get to keep them."
"And Jonas said he needs extras tonight for the party scene and said he wanted to use you, Lilah, and Elaine," Maddie told her excitedly.
Blinking Evaline shook her head, "Oh I'd rather not," she started to say before Madison cut her off, "Lilah Elaine why don't you go search the bathing suits. We'll be right there," she told the other two.
Once they were alone Madison turned back to Evaline, "You can do this," she told her sternly, "We're going to find you a fabulous bathing suit, you're going to go down to the marsh with your friends, and you're going to be an extra tonight standing right next to Lilah and Elaine with Maddie and Austin too. Nothing is going to happen to you with us around," she assured her.
"Madison I hear what you're saying, but it's a lot harder to get outside of your mind," Evaline said, getting frustrated. "I know that. I've been going to the support groups too so I know, but you also know they say to surround yourself with friends and remain living," she reminded her.
"I knew I shouldn't have taken you with me," Evaline muttered.
After searching the wardrobe trailer Evaline was resigned to the fact that the only thing available were bikinis, "Why is it only bikinis?" she complained.
