Hearing a knock at the door Rudy got up with Cara in his arms as he went to answer the door.  Balancing the bottle he was using to feed her with his chin he managed to get the door open without disturbing her feeding.

"Hey," he greeted Madison as he went back to the couch and she stepped inside and closed the door.  "Hi, where's Evaline?" she asked looking around for the blonde.

"I let her sleep in.  Someone was up half a dozen times last night," he told her looking pointedly at the baby in his arms.  "Oh I thought she was sleeping better through the night," Madison said.

"It depends on the night.  Sometimes she sleeps all the way through, sometimes she's up a few times, and then sometimes it's like playtime at 4 in the morning.  It's like playing baby Russian roulette," he told her as he set the bottle down and brought the baby up to burp.

"You are so good with her," Madison complimented, "With both of them really."

Smiling Rudy thanked her, "I'm kind of worried about next week when I'm gone."

"I thought the girls were coming to stay while we were in L.A."

"Lilah's not she has school and Bella's going to stay but she has classes during the day too so she'll be gone. So it'll just be Evaline and Elaine during the day," he replied, "Not that I think they can't handle it but her and I have like a routine down and Elaine doesn't know it."

"I think she'll be fine. You don't have to worry if Elaine does it better. Evaline's not leaving you for anyone else," Madison assured him, laughing.

"Shut up," Rudy laughed flinging a pillow at her, "Besides if she was leaving me for anyone it would be you," he told her rolling his eyes.

"Yeah I am a little bitter you saw her first," she retorted winking at him.

Laughing Rudy shook his head, "Anyway I wanted to ask you if you'd be in L.A. for Valentine's day?"

"I should be, why?"

"Well Chase and Maddie said something about taking a ski trip, which we could take Cara, but," he trailed off looking at her hopefully.

"But you can't do much with a two month old," Madison finished, "I guess I can watch her since I'm the only one without someone to love in my life," she stated dramatically.

"You have Cara," he said smiling when she threw the pillow back at his legs, "So did you two have plans today or was this just a freebie drop by?" he asked.

"Just a freebie. It's actually kind of nice so I wanted to see if she'd be up to taking Cara for a walk and then stopping for lunch," Madison answered.

"What do you think Bean you wanna go wake up mommy?" Rudy baby talked to Cara.

"I'm up," Evaline spoke up coming into the living room as she yawned, "Thank you for letting me sleep," she said kissing him before kissing the top of Cara's head, "Where do you want to get lunch?" she asked Madison.

"What about that diner you two are always eating at?" Madison suggested.

"Oh yeah, I can see if Peggi is working," Evaline said, referring to one of their favorite waitresses, "I bet she'd love to meet you," she said tickling Cara.
