With Hugo
Hugo's POV
F--k! My members are already on the news! And we haven't even tracked them down yet! By we, I mean my leader allies and I. We have no clue where they can be. Astoroth went balistic and wanted to chop my head off. Xaver, Astoroth's right hand man, is always nagging that it's all my fault. I know it is, I'm trying to work on it!
"Geez..." I grumble as I rubbed my forehead. I'm so stressed. How the f--k I became leader? I do not know.
"Hugo?" Vegas knocked on the door of my room. "I know you're in there." She patiently waited for me to open the door.
"Yes, Vegas?" I faked a smile.
"I have bad news." Vegas fiddled with her fingers.
Oh, great. More bad news. "Now what?" I leaned against my door and tapped my foot.
"Our members are far away from New York and have so far infected ten people. One; who knows how many the victims have contacted other people. Two; I don't know how we are going to track them." Vegas's eyes showed nervousness as I put my hand on her face.
"Vegas, babe. I'm starting to think of something that will only cost my life." I chuckled.
Vegas just stared at me. I swear, I always tell what she's saying without even saying it.
"I won't tell you. You will be pissed off at me."
Vegas sweat dropped. "I have a bad feeling from what you just said."
I nodded. "Yeah. Let's put that aside and be more focused on trying to track our members."
We both agreed and went to the headquarters of my base...Astoroth's POV
At the base.
"I don't give a f--k!" My son yelled, abruptly putting his feet on the table and leaning against the chair.
"Kira!" I yelled back at him. "We can't let humans know of our existence. Much less our allies who have the chemical with them!!" I supposedly pointed out at the surface, since our bases are underground.
"Oh, don't make me laugh..." My son smirked and shook his head at the same time. "First; you abuse me. Do you know how many scars I have to this day?!" He glared at me.
I just blankly stare at him. "I am very stressed right now-"
Kira interrupted me. "But that doesn't give you the right to take it out on me! Christ, dad! What are you trying to do?! Kill me?!"
I only chuckled. "That is for me to know and you to find out."
Kira then sat up and placed his elbows. He crossed his hands and placed his face on them, staring at me emotionlessly. "Screw you. Screw your allies. I prefer to be somewhere but here. I prefer to be with a certain someone who has been there for me. I quit being the next leader. I'm out."
I remained calm when Kira showed two middle fingers at me and left to see his little friend...Kira's POV
I ran to find Jaceline. But I couldn't find her anywhere. Until she startled me from behind.
"Hi, Kira."
I turned around and smiled at her. "It's been awhile since I was busy with my...father."
"It's ok." Jaceline smiled back and shrugged. God, it's been a month since I haven't talked to her. I couldn't take it.
"Woah!" Jaceline exclaimed in surprise as I embraced her. I finally understand why I felt so...weird.
Even though I go through stressful times, she's there for me.
But, luckily, no one was in sight to me act like this.
"Um, my bad." I shrugged. "I have...been liking you for a quite a while."
This caused Jaceline to stare at me for a minute. She slowly smiled at me and said, "I've been liking you, too."
"But...can I tell you something...?" I anxiously asked.
"Sure. Anything if you want." Jaceline nodded.
I paused; thinking if I should tell her or not. Something told me that right now might not be a good time.
"...never mind." I slowly shook my head.
Jaceline nodded. "Alright."Alue's POV
"Where did you guys get these golden cases?" I asked Darius and Zack.
"Uhh...about that..." Zack scratched his head.
"We stole them from Astoroth's allies. I wanted their cars, man." Darius complained.
I just gave them the 'seriously?' look, and chuckled. "I can't believe you guys would get in so much trouble just to steal classic cars."
Darius only smirked and shrugged. "It's cars, Alue. I think you understand from the time you accidentally blew up a car from our enemies that day."
I bursted in laughter. "Accidentally? I did that on purpose when I connected the wrong cables. That was funny... Oh, that day, though. But I would do the same thing if I was in your shoes."
I glanced around and remembered what I was suppose to do.
"Alright, guys. I'm going to do a little research on what's in the golden cases. In the meantime, do not leave the hideout. Ok?"
Darius and Zack nodded and minded their own business as I went to the lab...Back with Astoroth's POV
'I need to visit Hugo.' I thought as I ran through the sewers. I'm running out of plans. I've heard that Alue got the news. Great, another obstacle. Maybe Hugo can help. He's the one with the most scientists and has injected the chemical in half if their members. I heard that half of the patients died; the ones who were humans. The other half; the hybrids... I hear they mutated and are caged since Hugo and his scientists can't control them.
Oh, they don't know how deep they went from the results of that chemical. This is good news for me. In a way, it is.
"Hugo." I greeted, but noticed that Hugo didn't seem ecstatic like I did.
"Astoroth. What brings you here?" Hugo avoided to make eye contact with me.
