Ok! Sorry if the first chapter was a bit uninteresting. I became a little too excited in publishing it. It will get better, I promise. Just letting you guys know, Some chapters will be long or short or just one page because I don't want to write pages/chapters about a filler or something that has no point and/or will take up parts of this story. Soooo I hoped you guys at least some what enjoyed the first chapter.
There will be days when I will take time on how to write the plot for a chapter so that the story will seem good to read, and lead to what it's about, and the story will have a moral to it.
Enjoy! =^w^=---At the Base---
"Have you heard what happened yesterday?" The woman looked at her younger friend. "Nope. Why?" The girl sipped her soda while the woman raised her eyebrows in surprise. "Huh? You haven't heard of those three people, Eagleye? Alue, Shade, and Akio are major suspects of murder." Eagleye tried to process what she just heard. "What?!" Eagleye waved her arms in utter shock. The woman tried to calm Eagleye. "Look, I don't know what happened. But that's all I know." Eagleye shook her head in disbelief at the woman. "But, Sierra, I've known those three my whole life. Alue, Akio, and Shade are my childhood friends. They would never-" The woman, Sierra interrupted Eagleye. "Look. We can go and ask Astoroth to prove it." Eagleye hesitated. "...Ok..." Both sprinted to Astoroth's room and they saw many people at Astoroth's door shouting rants and knocking on the door. 'Oh, that infernal knocking...' Astoroth abruptly woke up.
He quickly put on his uniform and swung the door open, making a loud thud. "How come everyone is at my door?" He scowled in a cold manner. A tall male raised his hand. "We want to know something!" Astoroth showed a emotionless expression. "And what do all of you want to know?" A short brunette girl jumped and raised her hand. "What 'really' happened yesterday?" The question abashed Astoroth. But he didn't show the emotion. He noticed the looks on everyone's faces and hesitated what to say. "Alue and her..." He acted as if he was disgusted with Alue, Akio and Shade. "Companions were on their way to the base. When I asked them to give me the information of the device, they refused because they explained that the information could give them power and murdered a few of my men." Half of the people gasped and the other half seemed unconvinced. "But why would they do that?" The short brunette asked in a unconvinced manner. Astoroth smirked and shrugged. "Because that is what people do once they've gained everyone's trust." Everyone murmured but Eageleye. She stared at her friend Sierra; refusing to believe what is happening. "I'm sorry," Sierra hugged Eagleye. "But I'm afraid that they are no longer your friends..." Eagleye twisted free out of Sierra's grip and ran, not thinking clearly. "Now..." Astoroth caught everyone's attention and glanced at a few people he knew. "As for the people that work with me, I would like to have a little meeting if possible in ten minutes..."
'No... Something is wrong. There has to be another way to explain all of this.' Eagleye suspected something and she wanted to get to the bottom of this...
---With Astoroth---
"So what do we do now?" The sixteen year old boy asked as twelve people settled themselves for their meeting with Astoroth."Make a little hunt." Astoroth appeared behind the group, startling them. "What do you mean by 'hunt'?" Astoroth chuckled at the purple haired girl. "Good question, my dear. If all of you can, I would like you to hunt Alue and bring her back. She has something that I want." The purple haired girl widened her eyes. "But, sir! She is a suspect of murder...! What if she commits more crimes?" Three of Astoroth's companions agreed to the girl's question. Astoroth sighed. "Then we have no choice but to execute her." He shrugged. "Well, can you search for Alue or not?" Astoroth glanced at the twelve people.
The purple haired girl and her team glanced at each other and nodded in agreement. "Yes, sir. We will do what we can and won't fail you." Astoroth smirked. "I like that sound of confidence. Now, get going. And tell me anything your team finds out." The girl nodded; leaving the base with her team. ---With Alue---
Alue stayed with her friends in a alleyway, waiting for them to wake up. In the meantime, she couldn't think of anything. Her mind was blank from what she experienced. She just stared at the sky, trying to figure out multiple questions she asked herself.---With Alue---
'What does Astoroth want...? How many will he harm? How can I prevent events that will happen...? How can I protect my friends?' She thought. She brought her knees to her chest and placed her face on her knees.
Alue heard Shade and Akio groaned in pain when they woke up, trying to figure out what happened. "How do you guys feel?" Akio raised his arm and did a circular motion and winced. "I feel sore, vato." Shade seemed like he didn't want to show he was in pain. "Well...yeah...same here. What happened to us?" Alue felt rage. But she kept the poker face on. "Astoroth..." Akio perked his cat ears and laughed. "All I remembered was being beat up.." Shade was not sure how to react to that. Alue explained with a stern expression. "Astoroth knocked out both of you...and just threw your bodies in his car, planning to dump you two in the ocean..." "He what?!" Akio stared at Alue and Shade in awe. Shade put his hand on Akio's shoulder as if a older brother reassures his little brother everything will be alright. "Akio, during this day, we will figure something out." Akio hesitated to say something but only nodded.
