Recap: "What if Sasha chooses to not join us?" Jake asked.
"I have someone who take Sasha's position if Sasha doesn't want to join us. But I only did that because...he's so stubborn. I honestly don't know how Blackraven promoted Sasha to be a tracker." Alue shrugged in hopelessness.
"Not to mention that he is going through a rough time since the incident with his sister." Jake rested his chin on the glass table and crossed his arms in front of him.
"To be honest, I don't want Sasha to join so that he doesn't go through any more pain. But that's his choice, not mine." Alue sighed and sat next to Jake, placing her head on his shoulder. "Plus, we have bad news."
Jake lifted his head and turned to Alue. "What is it?"
"Basically, humans are starting to notice our existence." Alue smiled and closed her eyes while Jake chuckled...

"How much are the humans noticing us?" Jake's head leaned onto Alue's and held her shoulders with one arm.
"There are news reports, social media, videos. Heck, some think we exist, others think we're on a drugs and a fraud." Alue picked on her nails and smirked.
"Well, the humans have to know that we exist." Jake suggested and stared into Alue's golden fire eyes.
"I agree. But my fear would be how some humans would react. You can't judge all of them because of a large or small group of idiots. I mean, we can never forget that some humans live with us in this hideout and they are very open minded. Like Eira, for example. I admire that woman." Alue smiled as he stared back into Jake's ice blue eyes. "Two beautiful kids and goes to missions with her husband? I really admire that woman. My total respects."
"Speaking of kids," Jake pursed his lips and sighed.
"I was about to bring up that topic." Alue nodded and smirked. "If we are still alive after the war, I would like to have three kids. But one by one with time, you know?"
"Then if we're still alive, I would love to learn how to babysit. I definitely need that." Jake chuckled. "I can imagine when the day comes. You'll be on a mission and call me to check on things. I'll tell you everything's fine when the kitchen is actually on fire and I haven't changed the diaper yet."
"Oh, my, glob. That is so typical of the husbands these days. At least most of them." Alue snickered. "Most men are too scandalous to change a diaper when the mothers can multitask."
"So true." Jake nodded and grinned.
"Yeah...but there are some humans trying to look for us. Like, no joke. They make it seem like the documentaries of Big Foot all over again." Alue giggled. "You should check out some of the videos. It's amazing how they waste their time trying to discover if we are real."
"Oh, I have. Dean showed me. Some of them are funny, I admit. But I have seen comments on social media. Man, they argue so much, it's not even funny." Jake raised his eyebrows and blinked. "But there are a few that respect if we exist or not. A few, but it's better than nothing." He shrugged and lightly bit his lip.
Then Alue and Jake heard a phone vibrate.
"What's up?" Jake's dark blue wolf ears twitched.
Alue checked her phone and gained a notification. "News report."
"What's it about?" Jake peeked at Alue's phone and read out loud, "Gun crisis at Tech Park?"
"I'll put on the news..." Alue sighed and uploaded the news on her phone.
"A suspect in a dark brown jacket walked towards the Ferris wheel and knocked out a man who was controlling the machine." Footages were showing what happened at the incident.
"Do you notice that gun that man held?" Alue asked Jake as her eyes were sneered at the screen.
"Now I do. That man must work for Astoroth or his leader allies. Only hybrids use..." Jake was interrupted,
"That type of gun." Alue finished Jake's sentence and kept tuning in on the news.
"That's Akio?!" Jake stared at the footage when Akio ran and Nine followed him.
"Of course!" Alue raised her voice in shock.
"Can you contact him to see if he's ok?" Jake asked.
"You're right," Alue swiped the news report app off her screen and rushed to her contacts and called Akio.
"Hello?"
"Akio. I'm so sorry that I didn't contact you for a while. I just saw what happened at Tech Park and... Are you and your friends ok?" Alue bit her lip and was desperate for an answer.
"Yeah, I'm ok. Don't worry, sis." Akio's voice sounded sleepy as he yawned.
"Ok, thankfully you're ok. Where are you?" Alue tapped her foot and stared back at Jake.
"A new friend who says he knows you by the nickname Darkangel." Akio explained.
"Who is this person that claims he knows me?" Alue narrowed her gaze in confusion until Akio answered,
"His name is Declan."
Alue shot her eyes wide open in surprise. "He and I haven't contacted in months since Astoroth framed us. Declan is a good friend of Skull and I. He is a man who I call a father. How is he?"
"Apparently? Happy mood. He has this huge hideout with a lot of hybrids and humans, too. It's a humble place and two times bigger than your hideout." Akio said.
Then a idea lit up in Alue's mind. "Hey, you remember that we are in war with Astoroth, right?"
"Yeah." Akio responded.
"Does Declan still give hospitality?" Alue rubbed her chin in eagerness.
"Of course. Why?" Akio asked.
"I know Declan knows about this war with Astoroth from Skull. I was thinking to send my hideout members to Declan's. I don't want them to participate in the war. Is that possible?" Alue sat on the glass table and anxiously tapped her fingers.
"I will ask about that and let you know, ok, sis?" Akio yawned again.
"Alright. Thanks, little brother. I will wait for your answer. I have other things to take care of. Bye. Be safe." Alue smiled.
"Bye, sis. And goodnight..." Akio hung up the phone.
Alue and Jake stared at each other for several seconds.
Then Jake broke the silence, "We need all the help we can get. Urgently."
"Agreed," Alue nodded. "Starting with Deckan and Skull's gang.."
