Alue and Blackraven strapped Kira on the gurney.
Alue pulled out a needle and rubbed alcohol on her right arm. She injected the needle to take out her blood and pulled the needle out.
"Hurry!" Kira's voice lowered and growled as he made fists to restrain himself from losing control.
"I'm getting to it!" Alue quickly rubbed alcohol on Kira's right arm and injected her blood.
Kira kept growling and bared his sharp teeth. He then started to calm down after three minutes. "I want a answer, Alue. You told me you were also bitten by a Blooder, right? Then how come you haven't turned into one?" Kira sighed.
"I have done research on my blood," Alue started to explain, "And my blood type seems...rare. I think that's why, because I don't know whose blood I have." Alue shrugged, earning confused expressions.
"What do you mean?" Kira furrowed his eyes.
"I mean that I'm a experiment, Kira. Didn't you know that? Astoroth created me. Thing is; I don't know how I have this rare blood type." Alue lightly yanked her hair in stress.
"Well, I'm thankful for it, because it's been helping me." Kira let out his breath and shook his head.
Blackraven started to take off the straps and helped Kira stand.
"Thanks, guys... I really need to explain this to Jaceline after our child is born." Kira glared at the ground, imagining the possibilities if he could survive for long or not.
"Big time," Alue sterilized the needle and put it aside. "But she needs to be calm in her pregnancy. You know that, Kira." Alue shrugged.
Kira nodded and kept being silent after they left the research section and carried on with their business...

Akio yawned as he arose and stretched like a cat. His cat ears twitched and he lightly swished his tail and stood from the bed. He observed the bed he slept in and guessed the person who lived here must've been around his age.
'Strange. I didn't know Declan had a son...' Akio picked up a picture and stared at it. He saw a boy with Declan who had dark purple hair and grey eyes.
'Yep, this must be his son. How come I never see him? I'll ask Declan when he wakes up.' Akio placed the picture back and headed to the living room.
"Good morning, Akio." Declan and several of his friends were preparing breakfast for everyone in the hideout.
Akio sat at a table and placed his elbows on it. He picked on his fingernails and asked, "Um...if you don't mind me asking, whose room did I sleep in, Declan?"
Declan dropped the knife and froze. He hesitated to answer for seconds. He blinked back to reality and noticed his friends staring at him. He pursed his lips as he picked up the knife and washed it. He swallowed and heavily sighed. "The room you slept in was my son's..." He lowered his voice and continued cutting slices of meat at a unusual fast pace.
"How come I never saw him before?" Akio's voice slightly cracked; nervous how Declan would react to his question.
Declan paused from cutting slices of meat and face palmed. "He was your age, Akio. He would be seventeen now. Several years ago, my son, Josia, was at a mission when I ordered him not to go. But... He was kidnapped one day and- and killed in front of me..." Declan took deep breaths; forcing himself to not cry.
Akio's ears drooped and he put his head on his arms. "I'm sorry for your loss, Declan." His baby blue eyes stared at Declan in compassion and slightly shuffled his feet.
"It's ok. Um..." Declan lightly shook his head and sighed. "I just hope I see my son again one day." He smiled at Akio, "you remind me of my son by personality."
"Really?" Akio blinked and twitched his ears.
"Yes. He was always a thoughtful lad. A very down to earth person." Declan smiled to himself.
"Oh, mind if I ask you something?" Akio perked his ears.
"Of course, lad. Ask away." Declan swished his hand in a careless manner and grinned.
Akio cleared his throat and asked, "Darkangel is requesting for help. She needs someplace for her hideout members and she was also wondering if you could help her?" He slowly fiddled with his thumbs, hoping for a yes.
Declan thought about it for a short moment. He has so much space for a hideout. There's no harm in helping Darkangel. "Of course. I will help her. You can let her know now, if you want." Declan smiled.
Akio pulled out his phone and waved once at Declan as he grinned. "Thanks, Declan."
