Recap: "Hugo." I greeted, but noticed that Hugo didn't seem ecstatic like I did.
"Astoroth. What brings you here?" Hugo avoided to make eye contact with me.

Astoroth's POV
"What's the matter, Hugo?" I smirked. "You're usually content about being partners in crime."
Hugo didn't respond and only sighed and shook his head.
"I'm not sure I want to be 'partners in crime' anymore." Hugo looked at me with remorse on his features. I lightly laughed.
"You're joking, right?" I half grinned, trying to somewhat cheer him up. The second he shook his head was when my smile faded.
"What do you mean by that...?" I scowled at him, scoffing.
Hugo gulped, as if hoping for the best that I won't kill him. He let out a shaky breath, showing that he was really nervous. "Astoroth...we need to talk about this epidemic situation."
I have a feeling that plans won't go the way I want them to, but I will somehow deal with this.
"Alright," I leaned against the wall, crossing my arms and legs. "Let's talk."
"I don't know how to say this to you. Yeah, we have been allies, no, friends for a very long time. But," He looked at the ground, pausing, as if he was still thinking if he should tell me his plan.
"Spit it out, Hugo." I impatiently gritted my teeth.
Hugo just paused and sneered at me. "I don't think we can be allies anymore."
Wait, what? I slowly raise my eyebrows in shock.
"Why not...?" The color of my eyes darkened.
Hugo kept his cool and shrugged, shaking his head. "Yeah. I will kill a target. But I didn't sign up to create an epidemic for you. Tell me, you knew that about the chemical, didn't you, Astoroth?"
I chuckled. "One; yes, I knew everything about it, because..." I made my nails form into claws and stabbed Hugo at the left shoulder and whispered in his ear. "Two; I created the chemical with help of two spies. That gave me the perfect opportunity to use her." I can feel his eyes widen with awe. "But I made a mistake,"
Hugo blinked a few times. "Like what?"
"I used my daughter to accomplish my plan. And yes, I'm talking about Alue."
"How could you, Astoroth?!" Hugo pushed me away, bleeding. He didn't pay attention to his wound from being so infuriated.
"Because I wanted to complete my plan. Is that a problem?"
"Problem...? Problem?! It IS a problem to me! Because I admire Alue!" He pointed at me. As if he tried to threaten me.
Oh, great. Now Hugo is Alue's fan.
"I would love to have Alue as a member of my base or as a daughter. But, you!" He pointed at me. "You took advantage of her!"
"Oh? Then I don't see why you didn't do a thing for her." I made a smug smile and shrugged.
"Because I know you're ambitious. I know you will not only kill me, but everyone in my base, too. That's why."
"Fine." I smirked. "Then to peacefully resolve this, we're no longer allies. Let's see how you will survive this, hmm?"
Hugo glared at me and crossed his arms. "I don't know what you're up to. But I will prevent it. Get out of my base!" He pointed the way out...

Not allies with me anymore. Fine, if that's the way Hugo chooses, he's going to suffer. Not me.
Actually...now, this gave me a good idea. If Hugo quitted to continue being allies with me, he's going to try to find Alue. He will lead me to the jackpot. All I need to do is spy on him. And I know just the person to contact...
