"What plan do you have?" Alue asked Casey.
He pulled out the hard drive and the chip Eira gave him, handing it to Alue. "You saw Blackraven in my memories, didn't you?" Alue nodded. "Good. Did you see the memory when I was at that 'Let's Go Techno' store?" Alue nodded. "Perfect. When Your friend and I are helping Violet and the others escape, ask a girl named Natalie and she will tell you where Blackraven is." Jake stood in front of them, as if he heard the conversation. "So, you're not actually a member of the base. You disguised yourself with a fake I.D.?" Casey nodded. He rolled up his left sleeve, showing a blue bar code on his forearm. "So your real name is...?" Jake narrowed an eyebrow. Casey answered, "My real name is Connor. The I.D.'s name is Casey." Jake tilted his head. "How did you manage to live two years in the base?" Casey pulled out a needle and smirked. "Let's just say that I've been manipulating him a bit by making him partially stupid and dying. But I only gave him tiny doses. But my real disguise secret? You will find out one day." Alue raised her eyebrows in surprise.
"Um... Guys? Shouldn't we get to the plan?" She asked. Connor and Jake agreed and Connor pulled out a hologram map of the base. "Alue's right. Ahem, ok. Who is a Shadow Shifter or at least a Dark-Blood?" Skull raised his hand. "I am a Dark-Blood. Half breed at least. Why?" Connor smiled, partially coming up with a plan. "Because you will have a huge task. Unlock and help people escape. You can camouflage in any shade or tint of color." Skull smirked. "Aw, I feel flattered." Connor raised and narrowed his eyebrows. "Don't be just yet, because if other Dark-Bloods spot you, you're dead. That's why I'm here to tell you guys where to go and not go." Alue tapped her foot. "May we move on to the plan?" She patiently asked. Connor cleared his throat. "Yes. The little lady is right. Ok... In the greatest to least rank, which of you are the better fighters?"
Jake and Skull pointed at Alue. "She's the best fighter out of all of us." Alue smiled. "Why thank you, boys. And...next in rank, Jake and Skull are about the same fighting skill. Next, is Akio and Shade." Connor pulled out a hologram map and laid it on the table. "One of the chambers have a passage near a crowbar and a medium sized door. That will lead you guys to a labyrinth. Thankfully, the labyrinth doesn't have traps."
"Wait," Shade interrupted. "What if the guards spot us?" Connor shook his head. "I fifty-five percent doubt that. The labyrinth is only for...in cases of refugee or if a enemy barges in the base. Its high security." Alue stared at the map. "I believe it. It's like a quote I read... 'Even the most dangerous and hidden places are the safest...' Very true. Back to the plan, please." Connor smiled. "I see we have a little reader. Ok. The map will show you what path to take in the labyrinth. After that, it will lead you to a sewer drainage. No, you won't go through sewer water. There are seventeen paths. Go follow the one that has a...small silver arrow. That path leads you to three rivers. They lead you anywhere far away and to a secluded place. But you can't be too careful, go further and back to your hideout, guys. Ok?" The teens all nodded while eye contacting each other. Connor nodded. "Good. You guys wait for...twenty minutes. That's another twenty minutes before my break ends."
Jake and Skull eyed Connor. "So I am going with you, then Jake?"
"Yes. Because, you, Skull, can beat the high security. Jake, Shade and Akio will lead Violet and the others through the labyrinth. Alue, would that be enough time for you to leave evidence with Blackraven?"
"More then enough time." Alue said.
"Perfect," Connor looked at Alue. "Can you lead the way when we're at the sewers?"
"Yes. I will be there when one of you give me the signal."
"Great. We have...twelve minutes. I think we should go while we have the time." Connor packed up his devices and gave the hologram map to Jake. "Wait, where are we going?" Shade yawned and Akio stretched sleepily.
Alue smiled at them and said, "You guys are going with us on a mission."
Shade nodded. "Like, now?"
"Oh, yeah. If you can keep up, c'mon." Alue pressed the button, opening the hideout and everyone went out and headed to the entrance of the base...
