I Was Used...? (Part 4 out of 6)

Third person POV

---At Astoroth's base---
"Are you sure you want to do this?" One of the members questioned.
"Of course," Astoroth exclaimed. "I've been planning this for a long time..." Astoroth made a sinister smile. "When those brats arrive from the mission, we'll ambush them and leave them in the streets."
"Seems fair enough..." The man said. "But what about our people in this base?"
Astoroth was in deep thought from what he was questioned. Then the lightbulb popped in his head. "Well..." Astoroth began. "Thank you for reminding me, Casey. I just came up with something."
The man, Casey, slightly widened his eyes and crossed his arms. "What's the plan?"
Astoroth chuckled and patted Casey's shoulder. "My friend, that's only for me to do, and for you to observe..."
Out of nowhere, Astoroth and Casey heard something drop out of the room they were in. "You didn't close the door?!" Astoroth slapped Casey at the left shoulder.
"I didn't think anyone would come near here." Casey scoffed while Astoroth checked out the room and only saw faded wet footprints and a bowl of cereal on the onyx metallic floor. He yanked Casey by the ear and forced him to look at the evidence on the floor.
"Um...shouldn't we-" Casey was interrupted.
"No," Astoroth interrupted. "We don't need to find this person who eavesdropped. Sooner or later, we will find out..."

Panting, he leaned against the wall and slid to the floor. Jake couldn't believe what he just heard two minutes age. "Holy crap, holy crap" 'How can I warn this to Alue?!' Jake panicked. 'Come on, Jake. Think... Man...I just hope Alue retrieves the information first before handing it to Astoroth.' He held his camera. "At least I have a video of it. That should be enough to prove." He said to himself. 'Alue, Shade, Akio...please be ok...'

Shade's POV
Bang! Dodged the first bullet... Bang! Dodged another bullet. I have a bad feeling about this. I hate it when Alue is facing the danger while I have to wait for my cue to help out. This time, my hunch tells me that something tragic will happen. I'm pretty sure I wasn't the only one thinking that...
"Hey! Lets get out of here!" Akio ran towards Alue and I with the laptop we were supposed to retrieve.
Two men immediately grabbed Akio by the arms.
Alue threw the laptop to me and fought to free Akio before one of the guards arm locked her.
Alue jumped and twisted her body at the same time to free herself, pulling the guard towards her and head butted him, making the man stumble and fall from five meters high, breaking his neck.
The other man slammed Akio on the stairs and pointing a gun at him. Alue got in the way, protecting Akio and getting shot at the right shoulder blade. She didn't even scream, but Akio did. Alue formed into a half breed feline Shadow Shear and stabbed the man with her claws. "Akio, Shade, get out of here! I'll find my way out!"
I wanted to refuse what I was ordered to do, but you usually never go against Alue's orders. I yelled at Akio in our code language we made up.
">Akio! Can you get out?<"
Akio made a hand sign signaling that he will catch up.
I nodded and went to the exit. I pulled out a gadget that allows me to hack the passwords. ">I need someone to cover me!<" I was worried that something would happen to my friends, but I remained calm and quickly tried to hack the code so that we can escape.
Akio formed into a panther Shadow Shear and bit the men at the arms, drawing blood, but not injuring them; only weakening them. Alue went behind me, covering me and Akio with her shield. Alue is one of the few fighters who have multiple powers.
">You got it?<" Alue asked.
">Yeah. Get the smoke bombs!<" I notified just in time when the door opened and Akio ran to us as we threw the smoke bombs...
