Kira's POV
I gained a little strength to run to my room.
I locked the door so that Jaceline or anyone else doesn't see me.
"Why this?" I groaned from the pain in my heart. It felt like it was literally burning and increasing in size.
My stomach started getting queasy and I rushed to the bathroom.
I started coughing blood...
Black blood?!
I couldn't stop coughing. My stomach felt like it was being forcefully tucked in and my breath was stuck in my throat. Oh, here I go AGAAAIN!
The bones in my hands felt like it was breaking apart. My hands started growing like werewolf hands.
And the vertebrates started to separate and my back grew, the same feeling happened to my legs.
My skin started turning into scales, like a crocodile. My height increased to the ceiling. I peered at the mirror and saw myself...
'Let me out. I can make everything go away, Kira.'
I shook my head in fear and closed my eyes, hoping that I was living a nightmare.
'Snap back to reality, Kira!!! I'm going to take over soon. Get used to it!!! And I will make sure that your precious Jaceline will see me on the outside.'
"Don't you dare use me to kill Jaceline..." I bursted my eyes wide open, imagining the situation.
The inner voice of the beast trying to control me cackled.
'I will enjoy the day when it comes to murdering. So soon... Until we meet again, Kira.'
I gasped in pain when I was being transformed back to my normal human self.
No more. I need to tell my brother and Alue.
Yes, and urgently...
I ran to out of the room and speed walked so that nobody would suspect anything wrong with me.
I saw Alue with Jake and my brother. This gave me the opportunity to tell them.
Jaceline...forgive me.
"Guys!" I went to them and they smiled at me in a greeting manner.
"What's up?" My brother rested his elbow on my shoulder and nudged me.
"Something important..." I nervously shuddered and eyed at the three in anxiety.
"Where would you like to talk about this?" Alue asked.
"I would like this to be taken in a research lab. It's urgent." I rapidly tapped my foot in desperation.
Alue nodded, sensing what I was feeling and made a signal to Jake and my brother to go to the research lab.
"Blackraven?" I looked at my brother as we walked.
"Yeah?" Blackraven looked back at me.
"Can you tell Alue that the research lab has to be empty? But just the four of us talking in private?" I stared at the floor and hoped this wouldn't freak anyone out.
"Sure thing..." Blackraven eyed at me with curiosity, but didn't ask.
As we entered the lab, Alue kindly asked the scientists to take a break for an hour.
Luckily, it was their break time already.
Phew...
Alue asked me to step onto a machine that looked like a weight scale. I observed my surroundings and noticed another square shaped machine on the ceiling that was connected to what I'm standing on.
A glowing white light appeared from the machine I stood on and arisen to the square shaped machine on the ceiling.
"What's this?" I stood still, but I was curious.
"This is the analytical machine," Alue started explaining. "It will tell us what you're have going through your body system."
I gulped as she analyzed at the screen connected to the machine I was in.
I noticed the reactions on her face...
On my brother's face...
And Jake's face...
"Kira...?" My older brother couldn't stop staring at the screen.
"I felt that I should tell you three, because you know how to handle certain situations...right?"
Alue gazed at me in shock. I noticed how the pupils in her eyes enlarged.
"How much of the dose were you injected with?" Alue asked me.
"Half." I replied.
This is it. I had to tell them. I just hope that I don't go out of control just yet. I would love to be with Jaceline one more time if it comes to that and to see my baby when he or she is born...
