Astoroth tapped his fingers on the binder and paused on sketching Alue's hideout. 'Carefully go to the surveillance area and the electrical room.'
Kira's legs headed for the surveillance area.mas he passed by, there was a huge group of people in front of Alue and Jake.
'Wait. Let's see what's going on. I feel this would be useful information.' Astoroth twirled the pencil with his fingers, watching Kira walk towards the sea of people in front of Alue as he continuously remained with his eyes closed.
Kira tuned in Alue's speech.
"So we all are leaving now?" A redhead woman asked.
"Correction. Right now? Only half of you for the moment. We are trying to find more shelter for everyone." Alue looked at everyone and thought how the evacuation was going to work.
"That's understandable, Alue. But how are you guys going to destroy Astoroth?" A teenage boy tapped his foot in eagerness.
"That is something Jake and I planned. I'm afraid that is classified. All I can say is twelve people will join us. And honestly, I don't know how many more people will helps us along the way. Our allied leaders is also spreading the news of evacuation as we speak." Alue gave a nod to everyone.'This is better information than I could ever gain!!!' Astoroth tugged on his hair enthusiastically. He felt like jumping in his bed in surprise, but he knew it was not the time to celebrate. Not yet, at least. 'But something really bothers me.' Astoroth tapped a finger on his chin. 'Why would there be only twelve people fighting against me when I have a whole army of Blooders? That's suicide! They know I have the advantage here. There must be something that they know about me. I really need to be cautious when it come to the battle. Just few more days. And this will all be over...'
"What position are we all going to take when the battle comes?!" Jules asked Dean as he tugged on Dean's shirt multiple times in anxiousness.
Red pulled Jules off of Dean. "Let the man speak for your four paws sake! You're barely letting him breathe."
"I'm sorry, man. But...I'm eager to-" Jules paused from finishing his sentence.
"To what?" Red snorted. "Tell me! Because you have been dong nothing but nagging on my shoulder!"
Sasha remained silent away from them, dazed in his own thoughts.
"To save Kiana! That's why I'm urgent to know what positions we are all taking before the battle begins!" Jules threw his arms upwards in fury.
Red only shook his head and spoke with a soft tone at first. "Kiana is gone, Jules. We never heard from her again. And we never will."
"You're wrong!" Jules cried out. "You told me to keep trying to help and save people no matter what! Ever since I was in freaking diapers! Now you tell me that I am not able to save the girl who I love?!" Jules stared at him and desperately wanted an answer.
Dean glanced at Jules and Red, waiting what the other will say. He gulped and mentally crossed his fingers in hopes that they don't fight too harshly.
Red sighed and rubbed his face in stress. "Yes..."
Jules face crumbled in defeat. "W...why?"
"Because the life doesn't work that way, Jules." Jake placed a hand on Jules's right shoulder. "It aches. I know. But your not the only one going through the same thing. Not every battle has a happily ever after ending."
Red stared at Jake in observance. He turned his gaze to the ground and sighed. "He's right Jules. Sometimes, you have to learn how to live with painful experiences."
Jules's face was speechless. All he could say was, "Alright. Dean? Can you please tell us what positions we all are taking before the battle...?"
