Nine punched at the machine that controlled the Ferris Wheel, making a crater.
"What's going on?!" Kitaya held onto her seat and peered below.
"This machine was working fine." Akio muttered as he observed the problem. He then spotted a man who wore a dark brown jacket with dark blue jeans and combat boots. He...also had a gun!
And not just any gun. It's the type that only hybrids use.
'Whoever he is, he really doesn't care about others getting involved into death. Apparently, this one doesn't know how to keep us hybrids hidden.' Akio's baby blue eyes glared at the man with the dark brown jacket. His pupils enlarged like a cat's eye and he stared at his friends. "Guys! Everyone stay here! Don't move yet!"
The other people looked at Akio in fear and agreed to not move.
"What are you going to do?" Kitaya worriedly asked.
"I'm going to check what's going on," Akio cautiously got out of the seat and held onto a bar. "You stay here until I can think of a plan, ok?"
"Alright." Kitaya forced herself to smile.
Akio nodded and jumped from the top of the Ferris wheel and landed.
Everyone gasped how Akio didn't injure himself from jumping at such a enormous height.
Nine followed Akio and pulled out his gun.
Most of the people panicked while Akio tried to make up a diversion plan to distract Nine.
'Kitaya!' Akio tried to reach Kitaya by mind reading.
'Yes?!' Kitaya panicked by locking everywhere in sign of Akio.
'Are you afraid of heights?' Akio asked through mind reading as he kept running through the crowds while Nine followed him.
'No, why?' Kitaya replied.
'Ok. Can you help people to climb down one by one?' Akio had no choice but to defend himself from Nine. He stopped running and faced Nine; who pointed a gun at him.
'Ok!' Kitaya cautiously escaped from her seat and held onto the nearest bar in her reach. "Everybody!" She waved to catch everyone's attention. "We have to climb down one by one!"
Nine paused for a second and ignored Akio for a minute. He seemed like he heard what Kitaya said and pointed his gun to shoot at one of the bars, shooting off one of the screws and made the Ferris wheel rattle.
Akio sprinted to help the people on the Ferris wheel...
But Nine caught him with just one arm and shot another bullet at the center of the Ferris wheel.
Akio couldn't take his eyes off the people falling from the Ferris wheel...
