I don't know how long this chapter will be. So I'm kinda going with how my mind works and I don't want to keep you guys waiting too long. We're not the only ones who like people who publish at least three or five parts of a chapter per week. Everyone has a different pace of patience and reading. That's what I've observed so far.
With Kiana...
After Kiana insisted on constantly punching the metal door to escape, she gave up. She knew it was no use. She didn't have the hybrid powers. She was only human...
'Who's there?' Kiana thought to herself as she pressed her ear to the door.
She faintly heard several voices. The woman, Lila, ordered Jokka's team to drag in Red and Jules.
"What are you going to do to us?" Red scoffed and spitted blood at Jokka's face.
Jokka calmly approached Red and kneeled to his level, making eye contact with him and made a cynical smile. "You guys are going to be Astoroth's lab rats. Along with a pretty little lady whom one of you would die for..."
Jokka walked to the room where Kiana was and slowly unlocked the door.
Red and Jules were impatient to see who was in there. They went silent as Jokka pulled Kiana.
"Not you guys..." Kiana's eyes showed sorrow; predicting that Red and Jules will share the same fate with her.
"We had to," Jules kept smiling; hoping that will uplift Kiana's mood. "Well, it's a long story. We thought we were with your brother, but then a traitor lead us here, basically." Jules shrugged after he glanced at Lila; who disguised herself as Sasha...
"..." Kiana stayed quiet as she peered at Lila, who peered back.
"Oh, yeah," Lila chuckled. "You guys will definitely turn into our soldiers. I signed up for it. You guys should've seen the look on your faces."
Kiana stayed quiet as Jokka grabbed a needle and used it to absorb a orange liquid.
"Strap them onto a table." Jokka instructed.
Jokka's team did exactly what Jokka ordered and forcefully strapped Kiana, Jules, and Red.
"Now," Jokka approached to the three who were strapped. "Ladies first, right?" He smirked as his eyes laid on Kiana. "Such a shame that you had to be the enemy. I started to like you." Jokka made a fake pout as he stood next to Kiana.
"You're never going to break who I am..." Kiana spitted on Jokka's face and kept herself emotionless.
"Yeah, yeah. Boo-hoo. Now let's get started, shall we?" Jokka injected the orange liquid into Kiana's arm...With Alue
"What do you mean my friends left the hideout?!" Sasha roared as he stared the cameras.
"That's what I would like to know!!! I figure that someone was disguised as you to take them out. I have a bad feeling to where. And I'm afraid that it's in that forsaken base." Alue glared at the cameras, wishing that she had Astoroth in front of her to cut his head off. "I can't believe this..."
"You're not able to do anything, are you?" Sasha looked at Alue with doubt.
"I will get your friends and sister. Only, I don't think anyone will like this idea that I'm planning right now."
"What is it?" Sasha's anger crawled into his brain and threatened to explode at Alue as he gritted his teeth.
"Don't even yell at me. You're not the only one who is more than infuriated, Sasha." Alue's voice darkened.
"Oh, sure," Sasha scrunched his face. "You were only betrayed. That's not the worst thing you can suffer."
Alue glared at Sasha for his negative commentary and crossed her arms in defense. "Correction, betrayal is one of the worst things you can suffer, but that's because you trusted in someone you shouldn't have. One; it wasn't completely my idea to create this hideout."
Sasha scoffed at Alue and sneered at her like it was her fault that Kiana and his friends are in danger. "My friends are probably turning into Blooders as we speak! And you're telling me to calm down?! You don't see how I'm suffering here?!"
Alue kept calm and answered. "Yes, I see how you're suffering. Everyone suffers, Sasha. Don't make it seem like your the only one who lost friends. Welcome to life, Sasha, because we all lose and gain something."
Sasha kept quiet and started listening.
"Yes, life can be cruel because of the negative situations everyone goes through. But life is also beautiful, because what you lost will become into something good that will come to you."
"Then why does everyone suffer? Even when they are innocent?" Sasha slid to the floor and placed his head on his knees.
"I can't answer in general. But I can say this. Everyone has a different perspective of handling situations. It all depends how you choose to react to them. Keep that in mind, Sasha." Alue sat next to Sasha and patted his back to comfort him.
Sasha sighed and ran his hands through his hair. "I'm sorry for yelling at you. You're right... You're completely right."
"Don't thank me just yet," Alue motherly smiled at Sasha. "Honestly, I would've yelled at you in the first place, but that wouldn't help at all. I thought better."
"Alright. I think I'm going to mind my own business. But, what is your plan to bring back my friends and my sister?" Sasha tilted his head in curiosity.
"That's for me to plan and for you to find out. But if anything happens to me, Blackraven will take my place. And tell the others to not avenge me." Alue stood up and was about to walk out the room until Sasha asked...
"Why not avenge you?" Sasha furrowed his eyebrows.
"Because violence only creates more violence. That's why..." Alue smiled and walked away while Sasha thought about the advice that he was given...
