"What is Astoroth up to now?" Jake asked.
"He and his allies knows that we and our allies are trying to stop him. His base members, at least the majority, are now Blooders. Very few are still normal for now..." Isaya shook her head in disappointment.
"Huh...?" Hakeem tilted his head in curiosity, wondering about what his mother and friends are talking about.
"It's a tough situation, Hakeem," Alue hugged him. "You're too young to know."
Hakeem nodded, as if he understood and decided to tune out the conversation.
"I have a bad feeling that Astoroth will create a war." Sasha tried to predict, glancing at Alue, Jake and Isaya.
"Then we prevent it." Alue simply commented, shrugging.
"Yes," Isaya understood by nodding, but somewhat seemed bothered. "But how do we stop it?"
"I will confront Astoroth. He wants to kill me; I know that. I will try to prevent the war by conversation. If that doesn't work at all...then we have no choice but to finish him and his allies off in peace." Alue explained.
"What do you by 'in peace'?" Jake asked.
"I'm trying to make a plan that won't create bloodshed. That's why I wanted to capture two Blooders. I want to know their weaknesses or...what could kill them in silence. I don't want that, but from what Vegas and Hugo explained about the chemical, I doubt there is a antidote to reverse the effect of the Blooders." Alue looked at Jake with sorrow, hoping there is another way to peacefully resolve all of this. This is only the beginning and the prevention of a corruption...Time skip with Astoroth!
After Kira and Jaceline became a couple, they have become very close. A little too close, but not what you're thinking. Don't get the wrong idea, people! (Me: \(O.o)/) back to the story...
Kira had insisted that he and Jaceline leave the base without Astoroth knowing. Jaceline had always wanted to know why. Kira didn't explain for several months, including to this day. He has been internally panicking to how Jaceline would react if she knew not only what Astoroth is planning, but also that Kira used to be involved in his father's plans, too. Lately, Kira's stress was starting to affect Jaceline. She hoped that Kira would be a bit more...extrovert.
But, she has agreed to secretly leave the base with Kira. She also has been noticing how the base members have been acting. She also didn't feel comfortable. She felt like she was being stalked and that she needed to breath.
"Jaceline?" Kira mumbled as he flipped the opposite side on her bed, facing Jaceline.
Again, don't get the wrong idea. Nothing adult happened to those who think wrong.Jaceline fluttered her eyes open. "Hmm...?" She snuggled in the bedsheets, making eye contact with Kira.
"When do you want to leave the base...?" Kira sleepily mumbled as he wrapped his left arm around Jaceline's waist.
"Today if we have the opportunity. If not, then we can do that tomorrow." Jaceline yawned.
"Alright..." Kira kissed Jaceline on the forehead and got up. He went to the kitchen. Every base member in their room has their own needs such as TV, bathroom, and sometimes a kitchen. But the rooms aren't crowded. They are more like the size of a apartment room.
Kira snooped around the kitchen, looking for a few pans and knives to use. He found the pans, but not the knives.
Kira went back to her bedroom and poked her forehead, whispering. "Jace?"
Jaceline sleepily grunted. "What's up?"
Kira asked, "Where are the knives?"
"What for?" Jaceline raised an eyebrow at him and grinned. "Are you going to cook my head after you slice it off and crap it out?"
Kira chuckled at her question and shook his head. He gently placed his hands on her face, cupping her cheeks and stared at her light green eyes. "Heheh. No. I'm going to make us breakfast. But if you want the bloody breakfast to happen, I can help..." He smirked.
"Ok," Jaceline giggled. "Oh, and the knives are where the stove is. It's under the stove, there's a yellow drawer. It's in there."
Kira narrowed his gaze. "Why would you keep knives under the stove?"
"Because I'm weird like that." Jaceline grinned.
"True," Kira smiled and twirled a strand of her blonde hair between his fingers. "But I don't mind. Anyway, I'm going to make breakfast. Be right back."
"Ok. I'll be out in a minute." Jaceline stretched as Kira left her room...
