Chapter 17: A Shattered Plan... (part 5 out of 8)

Ok! I have been thinking of making a part two chapter for chapter 17. I don't know if there might be a part t this chapter, but I like the way it's going. Oh, by the way, Alue's plan will take place in book 2 of this story. And several major and minor characters will die, that's all I will say, at least I didn't say their names.
Speaking of characters, I know I haven't mentioned the characters in the beginning for a while, so I'm going to bring them back in the story and try to bring down the level of tragedies. I don't want this story with too much dark twists.
Plus, this chapter will have fillers and maybe, keyword; maybe have a dark twist. You have all been warned...

With Akio...
4:30 pm...
Time has been making more obstacles towards Akio to see Kitaya.
He has been with his friends and his sister, Alue. Of course, their not related, but they are like family. They have been a bit distant lately. Akio understood that Alue was very busy and thought he shouldn't disturb her.
Which gave him the opportunity to patrol where Kitaya lived.
He remembered those three occasions when he caught seven anti-allies at Kitaya's apartment. He can't stand to see someone trying to harm her and her father. Of course, Kitaya's father knew Akio, just not in human form. He only knew Akio as a stray cat, since Akio uses his Shadow Shear power to transform into a black cat.
Since then, he vowed himself to be Kitaya's guardian by visiting at least four days a week.

"Kita." Akio climbed to Kitaya's window and quietly tapped on it.
Kitaya slightly lifted the shades of her window and grinned to see Akio. "Hey, Aki."
"I'm going to the door and get over here, ok?" Akio pointed to the door.
Kitaya nodded and went back to her business on her tablet while Akio went to the front door and transformed into a black cat.
Akio scratched the door and meowed to get the father's attention.
"I'm going, I'm going." Kitaya's father sleepily sighed and opened the door to Akio. "Come in."
Akio nodded his head at the man in gratitude and wiped his paws on the door mat.
The man furrowed his eyes in confusion about how this cat could act like a human. He saw Akio entered and walked in circles around the man in a greeting manner.
"Meow." Akio went to Kitaya's room and scratched the door.
Kitaya came out of her room and carried Akio, who was purring loudly and smiled.
"That cat really likes you." The father noticed.
"Yeah," Kitaya petted Akio's ears, "he's a cool cat. Oh, dad?" Kitaya stood at the front door.
"Yes?" The father payed attention to what his daughter had to say or ask.
"May I hang out with my friends, dad?" Kitaya charmingly smiled as Akio meowed in agreement.
The father shook his head and smiled. "Yes, but be careful, ok?"
"I will. I have a good friend with me." Kitaya left her apartment with Akio in her arms and walked to the park.
'So this is the girl Akio has been protecting,' A man thought to himself as he cautiously kept his distance following Kitaya and Akio. 'Now I see why Astoroth placed a chip on him before he and his friends were framed...' The man decided to go another direction where nobody noticed him...

With Astoroth's guards...
Astoroth sended a small group of his guards to search for his son, Kira.
This started yesterday, to Astoroth, it astounds him how Kira is not found so easily.
He can't be that far. Where would he hide?
Well, the son became more smarter than the father. After all, Kira absorbed everything Astoroth taught him.
There has to be something Astoroth taught his son the most. One thing at least.
This really irritated Astoroth. He can't allow Kira to see Blackraven; Astoroth's older son. Not after what Blackraven did to the family.
Oh, and the human girl who Kira has feelings for. But what use could she be?
She could never stand the effects of the chemical.
And he doesn't want to use that human girl as bait...
Oh, well, he will just kidnap his son however he can...
