"Alright, amigos!" Alue yelled, catching everyone's attention. "Yes, leader?" A girl asked. Alue cleared her throat. "Thanks, but, you guys don't have to call me leader. One; I kindly ask you to call me Darkangel. That way, we don't blow our cover so easily. And two; I would like to create squads for job duties. Sooo...let's get started?" Alue shrugged and smiled. Some simply smiled and others didn't mind the idea.
"Awsome!" Alue clapped once. "Now...who is good with technology?" Sixty teenagers and some adults raised their hands. "Perfect. You guys will be in the nano tech section of this base. "Who is good with mechanics?" Twenty five people, mostly girls than guys, raised their hands. "Great, you will be in the garage section when fixing cars and such. Who os good at engineering?" This time, mostly men raised their hands.
"Thank goodness, you will work on designs to improve weapons and there will be times you will work with the mechanics. Who is good with medicine and healing?" One hundred teens, including adults raised their hands.
"That's what we need the most. You will be in the hospitality section." Alue quickly glanced at everyone. "Signaling with your fingers, what rank is your fighting skill?"
Everyone raised their hands. Most showed three fingers, meaning they know how to fight more or less. Some showed two fingers, meaning that their fighting skills are sloppy or still learning. Few showed four fingers, meaning that they do have minor errors, but can still fight well.
"Thank you, comrades. That's what I mostly needed to know. We will need to work on that. Luckily, we have a huge training section. Yes, for the time being, you will kick each other's butts. I just hope you kill each other in the process, yet."
Some chuckled. "So please don't murder each other. And hopefully our experienced fighters will help me teach you." Alue smiled.
A man raised his hand. Alue pointed at him. "Yes, sir?"
"Have you ever took care of kids?" "Yes, sir, I have. Kids are no problem for me." Alue smiled. A pregnant woman then asked. "Does that include babies?" Alue nodded. "Yes, ma'am. Does anyone else have kids?" Twenty married couples calmly said they had kids. Alue made sure that she would take care of them with the help of few friends. "My experienced fighters, I will ask you a favor to train fifty people for today. The training section is nineteen rooms straight ahead, then you guys turn left. The PIN number is 3371."
The experienced fighters walked out of the room along with fifty people. In the meanwhile everyone went to their places in different sections. Violet, Destiny, Jake and Netiri helped Alue babysit the toddlers who were around three or six years old.
They were all in a big daycare room. It was all peaceful with the kids throwing coloring supplies everywhere and flicking paint at each other's faces and yelling. (Heheh, my type of sarcasm. XD)
Netiri widened her eyes at the "angel-like" behavior of the kids. "I am never having kids!"
Jake was silently grumbling while two toddlers clung onto his legs as he struggled to walk.
Destiny's face was splotched with different colors of paint, including her clothes.
Alue just emotionlessly stared at her friends, and boyfriend's reaction, shocked that none of them can actually take care of a group of kids.
"Aren't you goin' to do anythin'?!" Netiri waved her arms in panic. Alue smirked. "Nah, I think I'm just going to watch. I'm actually enjoying this." She slyly smirked. "What?!" Netiri waved her arms even more.
Alue held her hands in midair. "I was kidding. Calm down, hothead." Netiri sighed in relief as Alue walked in the center of the room. She formed into a Shadow Shifter, (in this case you can call a 'ghost') and yelled, catching every kid's attention. "ATTENTION!" The kids immediately stopped and stared wide eyed at Alue.
"Thank you. Boys and girls, what your parents say about your behavior? We could all have fun, but unless you want to do something boring..."
"Noooo..." The kids complained.
"Then, behave yourselves or I will take out a poisonous snake and make it choke you if one of you behave badly, and will you throw out the base!" Alue tried to not laugh at the kids reaction. Their eyes looked like they could pop out of their heads. Jake and the other girls just stared at her sadistic speech.
'She really has a way with kids...' Jake blinked and twitched his ears.
