With Astoroth and Hugo...
Third person POV
At Hugo's base. Astoroth kept his word to giving the chemical to him.
The deal was mutual, since their intentions were dark. But secretly, Astoroth wanted to find a certain someone. The one who almost wiped out the family lineage of the Knights. But for now, he decided to put that aside, since he had a feeling he will find that person. Now, he and his allies had bigger plans. And the only good news for them was that half of their members were still injured from the fight against Alue and her comrades. This gave them the golden opportunity to make a cure. All prayed for certain 'enemies' to not spoil their plans..."Thank, you, Astoroth." Hugo chuckled. "I will tell my healers and scientists to use them as a vaccine. Your guards will become stronger as well as our members..."
Astoroth nodded. "I'm glad I have you and the others as allies. Now, I will will return to my base and wait for you or the other allies to give me results."
Hugo smiled and saluted. "Will, do, Astoroth." He turned around and walked, waving at Astoroth. "Ta to the next time!" Astoroth turned around and exited Hugo's base...With Hugo...
He ran to the lounge room, and was thankful that no one was usually in there at 5:50pm. He knew a certain someone who would always be there for a quiet moment. That would be his mate. Just when he arrived to the lounge and open the door, he didn't doubt that he would find her there.
"Vegas, baby! Hey..." He smoothly said.
A girl with orange hair and natural grey eyes lifted her safety goggles and blankly stared at him, sighing. "What, now, Hugo?"
Hugo cleared her throat and showed Vegas the golden case he was carrying, swaying it. "I need a little favor." He perked his eyebrows, trying to be charming.
"Like?" Vegas twirled her pair of tweezers around her fingers and raised an eyebrow.
"You know half our members are still injured, right?" Hugo acknowledged and saw Vegas nod. "Awesome," he continued talking. "In this case, there is a cure. I was hoping if you, the scientists, and the healers could use it to heal the members faster. Can you do that for me?"
Vegas thought about it.
"Pleeeease, babe...?" Hugo pouted. More like begging for her to say 'yes'.
Vegas just shook her head and smirked at the same time. "Fine, Hugo. And stop calling me 'babe'. You know I hate that nickname."
Hugo just smirked and hugged her; giving her the golden case. "Thanks, 'babe'."
Vegas only faked a smile. "Call me that again, I can make you spill a little red with my pliers."
Hugo raised his hands in defense and grinned. "Ooh, scratchy, aren't we?"
"Let me get back to my job, and you do the same. Ok?" Vegas smiled, making Hugo chuckle.
"I don't mind. I like watching you walk place to place, anyway." Hugo snickered, making Vegas narrow her eyebrows.
"Hugo!" Vegas stared at him as he kept snickering.
"What? You have nice hips." Hugo shrugged and laughed.
"Stop..." Vegas covered her face.
"Am I making you red?" Hugo put his hand on her head and messed with her hair.
"I'm not in the mood, Hugo... I need to go, ok?" Vegas smiled and walked out of the lounge, taking the golden case with her.
Hugo placed his cheek on his knuckles, watching Vegas walk. He stayed in a daze and sighed, smiling. "I love that woman..."
