Chapter 8: Unexpected- One At Peace, One In Grief (part 3 out of 4)

Still with Connor and Alue...
Recap:
The third guard stabbed Alue at her leg. She then held both of his wrists and half twisted them. Her eyes glinted in fire at the guard, scaring him. "Big mistake..." Alue smirked...

Alue tightly grabbed the third guard by the wrists and separated from Connor. She spun in circles, levitating the guard and knocking five guards at the face, knocking them out. She then threw the guard six feet away, making the guard hit Astoroth.
Astoroth growled demonically at Alue. "You little b-ch..." This only made Alue smirk. "Look who's talking, old man." (Me: for those who might be wondering, Astoroth is forty-five years old. But he looks eleven years younger.)
Astoroth lunged at Alue, pinning her to the ground while his body faced the opposite direction. Alue had her legs against her chest, which gave her the advantage. While she was being choked, she raised her legs and kicked Astoroth at the chin like the way rabbit legs thump against the ground.
Astoroth was stunned by this and punched Alue's feet. "Argh!" Alue yelled, setting Connor to help her.
Connor elbowed Astoroth at his back while that gave Kira the upper hand.
'Now is my chance...' Kira thought to himself as he pulled two silencer guns and aimed at Connor and Alue. Alue quickly noticed this and had no choice but to flip Astoroth and Connor, making Astoroth's back face Kira. Kira didn't notice this speed Alue used and accidentally shot Astoroth. Alue winced, thinking about Blackraven.
'Sorry, Blackraven. But I can't have Connor die and I didn't mean to put Astoroth in a death situation.'
Kira immediately stopped and widened his silver streaked golden eyes and death glared at Alue. Alue quickly healed Astoroth's wounds and backed up, pulling Connor with her.
"You will pay for this...half breed." Kira said, with his voice showing grudge. Alue and Connor took the opportunity to run and catch up with Violet and the others...

With Violet and the others...

They were already at the bridge. Nearly at the escape.
But there was an ambush waiting for certain people. Now, Violet and the others were at the tunnel, near the rivers. They all heard a voice.
"Hurry up! We have an ambush!" Eira yelled. Destiny was shocked when everybody came out the sewer tunnel. "What do you mean an ambush?" Eira motioned everyone to duck and pointed at two large groups of guards. Eira estimated at least thirty to thirty-five guards in both groups. Jake quietly gasped. "They're lined up at the two rivers. But not the second." Jake observed the situation, trying to create a plan. "We need a distraction...but where and how?" Eira shrugged. "We need a miracle...

Kira's POV
That girl will pay for what she did... And that man as well...
I checked my father for wounds, but he seemed ok since that girl healed most of his wounds. Why did she do that? Hmp, no matter...
I observed my father stand as if nothing happened to him. "Were did they go?" My father asked. I shrugged and carelessly dropped my guns at the ground. "How should I know? Possibly, they left." I swear, I don't know how this man is my father, because this made him chuckle. "And possibly, they didn't. Do me a favor, will you? That man that was with Alue,"
I narrowed my silver streaked golden eyes. So that's the girl's name. Oh, I will hunt her down... I quickly tuned in my father's voice. "That man's name is Casey. I want his head..." He put his hand on my left shoulder, looking at me in the eye. "Can you do that?" I thought about it. Maybe I can get a little revenge in this. Alright, plan set. "Yes, will you be ok?" My father laughed. "I will be fine. You just carry on what you need to do, Kira. And tell me how you at least killed one of them." I remained emotionless and nodded. I then took a shortcut, ready to cut off a certain someone's head...

Connor's POV
"Eira!" I whispered loudly, coming out of the tunnel and embraced her tightly. She smiled and hugged back.
"I thought the worst in that un forsaken labyrinth." She said in a raspy tone and looked at me with worry. I only stroked her silver hair and smiled. "But that was then. I'm here now." Alue only smiled at us and headed to Jake and the others. That was when I noticed two thirds of the rivers that was lined up with guards. And then Kira showed up right behind me...
