With Astoroth...
"Have you seen my son?" Astoroth asked a guard, who accompanied him in his office.
"No. It's been a while since we guards seen him. Why?" The guard furrowed his eyes in curiosity.
"That's my business. Please respect that." Astoroth cleared his throat and eyed back at the guard.
"My apologies, sir. Would you like us to look for him?" The guard suggested.
Astoroth thought about it for a minute. He figured that his son wouldn't be in this base, since the guard reported that he hasn't seen Kira in a while. "Yes," Astoroth folded his hands and rested his chin on them. "But only bring Kira. I would like to make a family reunion... When can you start the search?"
The guard hesitated to remember the schedules for the guards, "We can start tomorrow. By the way, how are the experiments going?"
'Ah, yes, Kiana and her little friends.' Astoroth remembered and made a soft cynical chuckle. "It's barely starting. Only, on the girl; I ordered Jokka to give the girl half of the injection. She is mostly human than a hybrid. That's why I decided to give her half of the dose."
"Makes sense." The guard shrugged in agreement...With Kiana...
She was arm locked by Jokka and two of his men.
"Get her back in the cell!" Jokka struggled to hold Kiana by the ankles as she roughly tried to set herself free.
Kiana roared and used her ankles to forcefully smack Jokka to the floor.
"Dang! She got man strength!" One of Jokka's teammates exclaimed.
Kiana threw her arms forwards, slamming the two men to hit themselves against the exit and hit the button; opening the door.
Kiana stared at Red and Jules.
"Is she gonna kill us now?" Jules gulped.
"I..." Red was too shocked to answer as Kiana approached them.
Kiana clawed at the metal straps that caged Jules and Red, setting them free. "Don't follow me." She dashed through the exit and that was the last time Red and Jules saw her for now.
"We need to find her before the effect makes her into a murderer." Red suggested as he and Jules escaped the base...With Alue...
'Why do some people never learn about morals?' Alue asked as she lays on the grass thinking to herself.
"Well, that depends how they were raised." Jake walked to Alue and sat beside her.
"Hello, wolf." Alue smiled and locked eyes with Jake's ice blue eyes.
"Hello, Darkangel." Jake caressed Alue's face and lied down beside her.
"I have a feeling that I will think of the most terrible yet a good plan." Alue nervously sighed and held Jake's hand on her forehead.
"How come?" Jake wondered.
"If there is going to be a war between us and Astoroth's allies, things will become bloody. I doubt that we will wipe out all of them. For earth's sake, I'm not God. I'm not Wonder Woman," Alue stressfully sighed.
Jake slightly frowned and tried to console her by lying down beside her and listened to what she had to say.
"Heck, I still make errors," Alue softly chuckled and slowly shook her head. "But I was thinking of something lately if situations do become bloody..."
"What is it?" Jake asked; ready to support her in any way.
"I was thinking that you, me, Isaya and Blackraven fake our deaths to protect our allies from any anti-ally survivor." Alue bit her lip, overthinking what Jake might comment about the plan.
"Seems like a tough job. But, I will support you, because I have noticed what you did to protect others." Jake grinned.
Alue sighed in relief. But then she seemed puzzled. "I had a dream about two people. They seemed like they came from Astoroth's base. But they didn't mean harm. They seemed like they wanted to join us."
Jake thought about it and shrugged. "Sounds real. Maybe it could happen..."
They both looked at the clouds and valued this moment of peace and held hands, happy with each other's company...
