I watched the car stop only a couple inches in front of Arena. I sighed in relief and then went over to Arena. "T-that was close." I heard her say. "Close! One more second and you would of been ran over!"

"Y-yeah I know." I held her in a tight embrace "you idiot, you gave me a heart attack." "I'm sorry David..." "Hey what the Hell do you kids think your doing pulling a trick like that! Are you trying to kill yourself's!?"

A girl driver yelled getting out of the car. "I'm sorry but we have been lost for three weeks..." Arena started to explain but she was cut off. "Wait are you the two kids who were on a field trip and disappeared?"

I shook my head yes "that would be us." A big smile appeared on her face "oh thank goodness you two are okay! Come on let's go I'm sure you two are tired, hungry, and want to go home."

We both nodded our heads. She got back in the drivers seat and me and Arena sat next to each other in the back. It was silent for a couple minutes as we sat in the car. "We are finally going home." Arena said an she rest her head in my shoulder.

"Yeah it's kinda scary and nice." "Yeah I'm sure my mom is going to be furious with me." I heard Arena say and I laughed "yeah I know what you mean." "What's the first thing your going to do?" She asked me.

"Eat a big fat juicy hamburger." "I'm going to take shower." "Yeah you do smell pretty bad" I said with a smile. She elbowed me in the side. "You don't smell very good yourself!"

"I think your smelling yourself there. Ow! Okay I smell to. Will you stop elbowing me in the side know?" She smiled "yeah okay." I looked at Arena and realized we were so close together even thought there was tons of room.

Its just something that's became natural. Even her laying her head on my shoulder is natural...when did we become so close together? "I can't wait to see Max and Kendy I miss them so much" I heard Arena say.

"Yeah I miss my family too." I saw her struggling to keep her eyes open to stay awake. "Go ahead and get some rest, I'll wake you up when we get somewhere." She nodded her head "night David."

"Night Arena." She closed her eyes and went to sleep immediately. "Tired much?" She smiled in her sleep and I smiled. There's no reason to deny it anymore. I kissed the back if Arenas head, I love Arena.

She moved a little in her sleep and I smiled. To bad she doesn't feel the same way about me
