Arena
I was at BurgerKing by myself. It's been five days since my date with Travis and it was the weekend finally. I sighed, I don't know what to do with him, I love him...I think.
I saw something grab one of my chicken strips and I looked up and saw David sitting on the other side off the table eating it. "Hey that was my chicken strip!"
"Well it didn't look like you were going to eat it." I glared at him "what are you doing here anyways?" "Well I got hungry and since you didn't drag me here this week I thought I would get it myself."
"Oh I see." "So why have you been avoiding me?" "I haven't been, at least I haven't been trying to." "Sure, so what's on your mind?" I didn't answer I just stared at my empty box of chicken strips.
I heard David sigh and stand up. "Well I'll leave you alone then." He started to walk away but before I knew it I was up and had grab his arm. He looked back at me a little shocked.
"I-..." At a lost of words off why I had just did what I did I went silent. We stood there for a while in silence. "Arena..." I looked at David and he smiled.
"Let's go on a walk." I nodded my head in agreement and walked out of BurgerKing. We got to the river and started to walk. Just like I thought it's more relaxing when David is by me.
"Hey David." "Yeah?" "How do you know if your in love?" He started to chock on his drink he still had "why?" "Because I don't know understand when you do love someone and don't."
He was silent for a while, it seem to me he was trying to figure out what he wanted to says. "If you love someone...you always want to be by there side."
"You thinking about them all the time, you worry about them, and when there upset you want to bring there spirt back up." "I See..." I said after he was done. "Why did you ask that?"
"Travis asked me to think over are relationship." "Oh...so what are you going to do?" "I don't know, I want to make a decision that I know for sure is mine...I'm done with letting others decide for me."
David smiled "that's good." "So what about you?" "What about me?" "Do you have a special someone?" "You really can ask questions without thinking about it" David said with a sigh.
"Oh come one do you or not?" "Yes I have someone I like." "Oh really, who is it?" "Not telling you." "Why not, were friends aren't we?" "It's for her sake." "What?" I said confused.
"For her sake I can't tell you right now, but maybe one day." And for the first I saw David smile but had a sad look in his eyes. "Okay...I'll wait for that day."
"Okay, now come on its starting To get dark. I'll take you home since you probably walked to BurgerKing. "Thanks David..." "No problem."
