Chapter 10

Arena

"Man this sucks" I mumble putting my stuff in the floor by my bed. "And what's that?" My friend Kendra said. "I haven't seen Travis at all yet!" "Oh is that all." "Yes I miss him so much!"

All of a sudden there was a knock at the door. "Maybe that's him!" I ran to the door and opened it to find David there. "Oh it's just you" I started to walk back in my room.

"Sorry to disappoint you" I heard David say following me in. "What's he doing here?" Kendra asked me. "He's my partner so he has to come with us if we want to hang out."

"I see well that sucks."Kendra replied. "Sorry me being here is such a nuisance" David said and I watched him lay on my bed. "Don't lay were ever you feel like!" "Your always so loud" David said back to me.

"Maybe I am, but that doesn't mean you can lay wherever you want!" But before he could say anything I heard Kendra yell at me from the bathroom. "Hey Arena can you help me for a second." "Yeah I'll be right in!"

I looked at David "This isn't over." I saw him close his eyes and say "yeah whatever, go help your friend." I stuck my tongue out at him and went into the bathroom. "What do you need?"

Kendra looks at me "can you please help me fix my hair?" I smiled "yeah sure." I fix her hair for her and then took a couple steps back "There, good as new." "Thanks Arena." "Well we better get going, where's your partner at?"

"Kacie said she would wait for us downstairs." "Okay let's go then." We went back to the bedroom area. "David we're ready to g-" I froze when I saw David sound asleep on my bed.

"He must be really tired to have fallen asleep in such a short time." I heard Kendra say next to me making me snap out of it. "Yeah he didn't sleep a lot last night." "So what do we do?" Kendra asked looking at me.

I looked at David sleeping face again and sighed. "Go ahead and go I'll stay here." Kendra seemed to be shocked at my response. "You sure?" "Yeah I'll let him sleep, its partly my fault that he's so tired."

"Okay...we will go somewhere tomorrow then?" "Yeah." "Okay I better go Kacie is waiting for me." "Okay see you tonight." I watch Kendra leave the room and I sat on her bed.

I looked over at David who seemed to be having a good dream. That jerk did this on purpose he knew he would fall asleep if he laid down. I sighed once again, Oh well I'll just make him go wherever I want tomorrow.
