David
Arena had now stop and was looking at me. "Why did you stop?" "...do you blame yourself for all this?" She looked at me and I knew she was shocked. "So I'm right?" She looked away from me "it is my fault that we are here."
"It's not your fault Arena at least no fully." "You got dragged into this because you tried to save me." "You didn't ask me to save you I did that on my own." "I'm why we fell."
"You might of been able to get your feet away from there if I haven't distracted you." "If I hadn't gone into the woods no of this would happened." "And if I had kept a better eye on you I would of
stoped you from leaving from the beginning." Arena looked at me and seemed to be lost of words. I sighed "Arena my point is were equally at fault for this." "David..." I smiled "cheer up some."
"David you idiot!" She yelled and then started to cry. I Stared at her dumbfounded, I was trying to cheer her up not make her upset. "Arena what's wrong?"
When she didn't answer I went on. "If I said something to upset you I'm sorry." Instead of calming down she started to cry harder. Wanting to come her down I did the first thing that came in mind and hugged her.
"D-David what are you doing?" "I-I don't know I panicked...I can let go if you want." I felt her rest her head on my chest "are we going to be stuck out here forever?" I didn't answer her.
"I don't want to die out here David theres stuff I still haven't done." I rubbed her back gently "you won't die out here Arena." "You don't know that."
"I promise we will get out of these woods Arena, I'll make sure of it." "And how are you going to do that?" "Not sure yet but I will. We will go home and then me, you, and Max will drink some orange juice boxes together.
Sound good?" Arena laughed a little "yeah sounds good." I smiled after hearing Arenas laugh "I might even play cop and robbers was it?" "You would make Max's day if you did that."
"Yeah I bet I would, don't worry I'll make sure I don't get in the way of you and your love." I saw her blush a little "Im not in love with the teddy bear!" "I never said you were."
She looked me with an angry look but it went away. "Thanks David." I looked at her shocked "for what?" "For cheering me up." I smiled "there's no reason to thank me for that." "Then thanks for saving me and putting up with me."
She smiled and I realized how cute Arena is every time she smiles. "Yeah, no problem..."
