Arena

I came back with a big pile of stick and small longs. "This should last us for a little bite." I said putting the logs down in front of David. "Okay but how are we suppose to make a fire?"

I sighed "no idea, if we had some supplies I could make one but..." "Well I guess we do this old fashion way." I heard David say. "And what's that?" He showed me two rocks."

"There's no way that will work." He shrugged "don't know until we try."  "Well it's up to you  there's no way I can do it." "No pressure or anything" David mumbled getting up.

He stated to try and make a fire and it went dead silent again. I couldn't think of anything to say, it was my fault we were in this situation. "yes! I got a flame." I heard David yell.

Not long after that did we have a decent size fire. "That should last us for a while." David told me sitting next to me by the fire. I nodded my head as I stared at the fire. Silence over came us once again.

I closed my eyes, this is all my fault. If I had just ignore the noise I heard me and David would be back at the resort safe and sound. But instead we are in the woods were there's bears, in the freezing cold, and no food or water.

I felt something touch my forehead and I opened my eyes. David had his hand on my forehead and was giving me a concern look. "What are doing?" I finally asked.

"Seeing if you have a fever" he answered an moved his hand. "Why?" "Because your acting weird." I looked at him shocked "what do you mean?" "Well for starters your being quiet."

I started to get angry "so? I can be quiet." David laughed a little "yeah and your brother can get my name right." I giggled a little "I still don't understand why he can't get your name right."

David smiled "your guess is good as mine." "I miss him" I said before I could stop myself. "It's only been two days since you seen him. "Yeah I know..." "Arena?"

I shook my head a little and smile "yeah?" "...maybe we should get some rest." I nodded me head and laid down close to the fire. I doubt I'll be able to fall asleep tonight... "Night David." "Night Arena." And somehow I fell asleep.
