Arena

I meet up with Travis at Taco Bell for our date. "um are you sure you want to eat here for our date?" he asked me looking at the restaurant with an uneasy look.

"Yes trust me it's good and we don't always need to go to fancy restaurants on our dates." "Okay...whatever makes you happy." I grabbed his hand and we went inside.

I got a two soft tacos and chips and Travis just got one taco and a drink. Half way through my food I noticed Travis hadn't even touch his. "Something wrong?" I asked.

"No I'm just not that hungry." "Oh okay, I was thinking after this that we could go and walk by the river." I said taking a sip of my drink. "Sure...Sounds fun."

I finished up my taco and then we headed to the river. When we got the river I got out of the car and went over to Travis and we started to walk beside the river.

"So when did you start like doing this kind of stuff?" "What do you mean?" "You never liked walking like this before or wanted to go to fast food restaurants."

"Well when me and David where in the forest alone we followed a river so I guess it just feels comfortable walking next to one now." "You and David huh."

A little confused by his comment I looked at him "what?" "You and David are really close these days aren't you?" "Yeah I guess you could say we are ready good friends."

"Just friends?" Travis repeated. "Yeah..Travis do you not trust me?" "It's not that I don't trust you its just....you where gone for a mouth Arena."

"Yeah so?" "Well you've changed a lot in that one mouth and you two were alone for that whole month. It wouldn't be very surprising if you fell in love with him."

"I'm not in love with David." "Okay I believe you but...think over our relationship will you? I really do love you Arena but I don't want you to be with someone you don't like."

"Okay I will..." He smiled and kissed me on the head. "I'll take you home." We walked back to the car in silence and I started to think of what he said.
