I looked at the permission slip and sighed. I don't want to go to this field trip and I really don't want to be with that annoying girl more then what I already have.

I walked outside, oh well I'm going home and taking a shower then a nap. I was about to go when I heard someone yell to my left "no I missed the bus! Oh crap I'm not going to get home on time."

I looked over and saw that it was Arena. I guess she ended up missing her bus after all. "No no this isn't happening, how am I going to get home." I heard her say and I sighed. "Hey blondey!" I yelled at her and she looks over at me.

"...Need a ride?" "Is rather die then get a ride from you." I heard her say and I got angry "fine, I thought I would be nice. Enjoy your walk home." I started to walk away and then I heard her yell "w-wait!"

I stopped and looked back "what?" I saw her look down like she was in deep in thought. I stood there waiting for her to say something else. What the heck is she thinking about?

She finally looked back up "...can you please give me a ride home." "....yeah sure." I watched her grab her English project and we headed for the car. It was dead silent between the two of us as we got to the car.

"So where do you live?" I asked after we both got into the car. "...Zane street." She answered. "Okay...Zane street it is" I replied turning the car on. As I drove to her house it was silent again. What was I thinking, offering her a ride home.

"So your old enough to get a license aren't you?" "Yeah I am." "Then why don't you have one yet? You wouldn't have to ride the bus." "I know, riding the bus doesn't bother me though." I glanced over at Arena, there seems to be more to the story.

I looked back to the road, oh well it's none of my business. All of a sudden I heard the song Angel With a Shot Gun started playing. I glanced over at Arena who was looking at her cell phone. "...You going to answer that?" I finally asked her. I saw her glare at me and then she answered her phone.

I can't wait for her to be out my car I thought to myself. "Yes mom I know I'm late I'm sorry I forgot." I heard her say. "I missed the bus mom...yes I'm on my way...I'll me home in five minutes mom...yea I love you to...bye" she hung up and sighed.

"...everything okay?" "Yes everything is fine, take left up here." I took a left and then she pointed at a red house up the road "that's where I live." "Okay" in parked in front of it and she got out. I saw her grab her backpack and ran to the house without thanking me. "Yeah your welcome" I mumbled.
