We have been visiting Max for a few hours now.

Beep, Beep, Beep, Beep, Beep, Beep.

"Sis can we play cops and robbers?" "Max I wish we could but..." "I know I just wanted to ask one last time." Me and Arena looked at each other "Max what do you mean by that?"

Max didn't answer Arena "Remember that one time you gave me a teddy bear in a store to play with and then forgot you gave it to me and we walked out of the store and mom saw that I had it and started panicking."

"Haha yeah, she still doesn't have a clue how I got that teddy bear." "What kind of stuff have you been teaching your brother?" I asked. She shrugged "I was pretty young myself when it happened.

Beep, Beep, Beep, Beep, Beep.

"Arena remember what we talked about two weeks ago?" "Yeah..." "You should tell somebody else, there's better ways to solve the problem then what your doing." "Max why are you-"

Max Ignored Arena again. "Remember sis when you stuffed your whole face into your birthday cake. I smiled "now that's something I would like to see. She blushed a little "shut up it was an incident."

"Sure it was." "It was!" "Arena will you lower your voice, I'm not feeling good" Max said. She looked at him "yeah sorry." I smiled at her and she stuck her tongue out at me.

Beep, Beep, Beep, Beep.

"David." I looked at him shocked that he said my name right. "Yeah?" "Remember our promise the night you came over before the field trip?" "Yeah I remember it."

"I know it was only there until you guys came back but can you keep doing it." I smiled "you didn't even have to ask." he smiled "thanks David." "Max will you please answer me?!" Arena yelled.

"Arena I've had a lot of fun with you all these years."

Beep, Beep, Beep

"And I've had lots of fun with you Max...and we're going to have more fun in future." He grabbed Arena's hand "because of you I had a amazing life and don't regret anything."

Beep, Beep.

"No I haven't done anything Max." He smiled "I want you to keep smiling sis and follow your heart." "Max please don't say things like this." I love you sis." And I watched the hand that was holding Arenas fall to the bed.

"No Max you can't leave! Wake up Max!" The doctors came in an started to gather around Max. I slowly stood up Arena and took up her to the corner of the room.

"David I can't loss him." Arena said holding my hand and I could feel her shacking. "I know Arena..." We watched them try all kinds of thing on him but after a couple minutes they l stopped.

It was silent for awhile and then doctor said "time of death 8:18 pm, Tuesday, April, 19." "No this isn't happening." I heard Arena say before she started to cry.

I hugged her and she buried her face into my chest. "David I can't live without him..." "...Arena it's going to be okay, I promise." "Will you stay here with me for a little while?" "Yes of course" I said and then Arena kept crying and I rubbed her back gently.

I whispered very quickly "I'll protect Arena so Rest in peace Max."

So this was a sad chapter. Try to make next one happy but no promises and I think I'm starting to wrap things up but knowing me that could mean 10 to 15 chapters lol so I'm not sure. I put a lot of effort into this chapter so I hope it doesn't suck. Might be a while until I publish the next chapter cause I'm not sure what I want to do next. I like always hope you enjoyed. ✌️
