Arena

"Hello?" I heard again. I was at a lost of words still shocked that I had call him. "hey" I finally managed to say and felt pretty stupid afterwards. "...is something wrong?" He asked.

"No there's nothing wrong, what made you think that?" "It is three in the morning..." "Yeah sorry about that" I said realizing I probably woke him up. "No it's fine, is there a reason you called?"

"No...I guess I just want to hear your voice." I was silent for a few minutes as I looked up to see at the stars and moon. "Are you okay Arena?" "Honestly no..." I said before I could stop myself. "Want to talk about it?"

"Yes, but I can't." "Why can't you?" David said confused. "Because if I did you would get hurt." I tensed up when I realized what I said. "What do you mean by that?" David asked and I panicked.

"Nothing, just me talking weird, probably because it's three in the morning." "Arena..." I heard but I keep talking. "I'm tired so Ive been talking some nonsense here haven't I?

I should go to sleep now have a big day at school night David!" "Arena don't hang up!" I heard before I pushed the end button. I put my phone down and sighed, this isn't good.

It was going to take a lot of effort to fix this. And I'm already tired as it is, I'm not sure I can take this much longer. I sat there by myself for a half hour trying to relax but I couldn't do it.

I signed "I wish David was here, I can always feel at ease when he's with me." "Then maybe you shouldn't have hung up on me like you did." I jumped at the sudden voice and then peaked around the tree.

David was standing a few feet away looking at me. I couldn't see his face since it was dark but I could tell it was him by his voice. "How did you know I was here..."

"I didn't...I just had a hunch that you were." "Oh I see..." It went silent and Davide didn't move from where he was standing. Finally I heard him sighed "Arena we need to talk."
