David

"How did you know I was up here?" I shrugged "I didn't I was just looking for a quiet place." "I see..." she kept looking at me with this concern look. I smiled "you've been looking at me like that all day."

"Because you've had a sad look in your eyes all day..." She whispered and I sighed and walked over to her. I rest my arms on the railing and looked up at the sky. I thought I saw a shooting star but it end up being a airplane.

"Did you know my mom was an artist?" "No I didn't..." I smiled "well she was, and was the best one in the world. People across the world wanted her work and she had to travel quiet a lot to."

"But when she was home me and her would have the greatest times together. One day she got a call from "Le Louvre" saying they wanted one of her paintings. It was her dream to get one of her pieces in there one day.

She got a plan ticket to Paris and was going to be gone for a week. I went to the airport with her and said my goodbyes. I watched her walk away until she was out of sight...I never saw her again. "David you don't mean..."

I closed my eyes "...my mom died four years ago in a airplane crash." "Oh my god David I didn't know." "Yeah not a lot of people do, no one at school knows about it either." "That's why you didn't want to ride the airplane here."

"Yeah that's why..." "How did it happen?" "The engine stopped working and crashed in the Atlantic Ocean. There was no survivors and no one ever found the plain or body's."

"Thats so sad..." I heard Arena say and I nodded. "It is what it is but...I wish they would have been able to fine the painting so I could put it in the museum for her."

I finally opened my eyes and looked at Arena who had a couple tears coming down her cheek. "Wait a second why are you crying?" "Because something sad happen to you and it make me sad!"

I smiled, shes so cute. "Well stop it, you ugly when you cry." "Shut up!" "Here I'll help." I pinched her cheeks and pull them until a smile. I looked at her and she looked like a fish I laughed "this look suits you."

She pushes me away "stop making fun of me!" "Im sorry..." I grabbed her arm and pulled her into a big embrace. "David?" "Thanks for putting up with my attitude and trying to cheer me up."

"No problem David, what are friends for?" I felt her tighten her hold on me. "if you ever need to talk to someone or just need someone to be there just call me and I'll be right over."

"Okay... and the same with me." It went silent and we just stood there in each other's arms
