First meeting genderbend (request)

Request from GSBUBLE. I recently posted my genderbend drawings so check it out on my drawing book. The genderbend names are Maxana(Max), Leo(Leena) and Higgagonda(Higgabottom)

Morning came in the jungle as Maxana rested on top of the jungle tree. She had fallen asleep while wearing the lion amulet.

Vrrrrrrr

"Huh?" Maxana woke up startled when a large shadow zoomed over get and she heard this rumbling sound that she had never heard. Up in the sky was this large orange ship flying above the jungle as Maxana looked at it surprised.

The lioness had never seen anything like it and thought it was some kinda beast. She quickly climbed down the tree, slides down its trunk and jumped off it, grabbing a large piece of wood along the way as she ran to it.

The ship landed on the ground as Maxana got closer to it near one of the wings of the ship. Glaring at it, she started attacking the wing of the ship by stabbing it with the wooden piece in her hands, making a clanging sound as she hit it.

"Hey!" An angry male voice called out from above. "Huh?" Maxana said puzzled as she stopped banging the ship and looked up.

"What are you doing to my ship?!" A voice yelled out again as Maxana saw this person leap out of the ship and zoomed towards her.

"Oof!" Maxana said as the stranger pounced on her, making her drop the wood. The two rolled onto the ground and Maxana pushed the stranger off her and the stranger leaped back and got into a fighting stance.

Maxana stood up as she got a look on who attacked her.

It was a lion like her. He was wearing a white shirt with blue vest along with matching pants and fingerless gloves. His light brown mane was in a long ponytail, he had a goatee and he had brown eyes glaring at her fiercely.

Maxana stared at him surprised and stunned. She had never met another lion before. Her eyes looked at him from up and down.

"Hah!" The lion was about to attack again.

"Leo no!" A panic voice called out as the lion halted and turned away surprised. "Wha?" Maxana said surprised, recognizing that voice.

Higgagonda flew in and landed near the two. "That's her!" She told him, pointing at Maxana. The lioness was surprised that they knew eachother.

"Aunt Higga you know him?" She said surprised as she looked back at the lion. "Who is he?" She asked as she turned back to the owl. Higgagonda smiled at Maxana as she turned to the lion and motioned her wing to introduce him.

"One of the bravest, most fearless leaders in our fight against Shadow Mistress" Higgagonda introduced him as the lion placed a hand on his hip and smirked at Maxana, his eyes looked at her up and down kinda puzzled.

Maxana stared at him blushing pink a little. "But what is he is doing here?" She asked confused and then she turned around to look at the ship. "And what is that?!" She asked really confused

"That is the Phoenix. Owned and built by Leo" Higgagonda explained, her face starting to turn serious as she began to reveal the reason why she brought Leo here.

"And he is here that we may begin our quest to reclaim your kingdom" Higgagonda explained to her serious as the lioness turned to her surprised.

"Huh?" She said surprised and looked down worriedly. She had learned her origins just last night but she wasn't sure if she wanted to leave the jungle or if she was ready to take back her kingdom.
