May I have this dance?(genderbend)

You guys remember the may I have this dance moment? Here it is again but this time genderbend. We see how Max felt when he saw Leena in a dress the first time. But how about Leo and Maxana(Leo is Leena's genderbend and Maxana is Max). Basically the same as the original but with some changes

"Wow! This is amazing!" Maxana said excited. After defeating Shadow Mistress, everyone in the Lion Kingdom decided to celebrate by hosting a big party at the castle. It was Maxana's first ball.

Everyone was invited even Maxana's friends and adopted parents from the jungle. Maxana was leaning on a stair case rail, watching the party from below, her eyes huge with wonder and amazement.

"Maxana come on! Let's get you dressed! Your subjects must see you! After all, you are the guest of honor" Higgagonda called for her as Maxana followed her downstairs.

Leo was watching her from the hallway and he shook his head, smiling "Wow. Jungle Girl gets excited too easily" he remarked but then his ears perked at a chuckle and he turned around and spotted King Shifa.

"King Shifa!" Leo said surprised and he quickly bowed in respect. Shifa chuckled at this "There is no need to do that Leo" he reassured the younger lion, placing a hand on his shoulder.

Leo watched the party from below. He could see Maxana talking to a mom and her cub. Maxana knelt down and rub the cub's head.

Leo smiled at this. 'Yep. Maxana makes a pretty good queen' he thought in his head. Shifa looked at Leo and notice something. "How come you're not dressed up?" He asked and Leo stared at her surprised by the question. Leo was actually still in her usual clothes.

Leo smiled at him sheepishly "I uh don't really have an outfit " he answered awkwardly but Shifa just chuckled. "I think I can solve your problem" Shifa told her.

Meanwhile, Maxana was talking with everyone and eventually met up with her two best friends Twitchy and Spika. "Aw man how can anyone get use to these fancy clothes?" Twitchy complained as she pulled on her sleeve. Both she and Spika wore dresses, Twitchy had a green one and Spika an orange one.

Maxana had on a beautiful green dress with flower designs and she wore her crown. Her hair was still the same. She shook her head smiling at her friends "Next time I'll let you guys pick your own outfits" she told them reassuringly.

"Well aren't you a reasonable sorta queen my daughter?" Shifa's voice came up and Maxana looked up stairs to her dad and Leo.

Leeo was wearing a red and white tuxedo with some gold on it too and there was an orange flower on his chest too. Leo was looking down nervous and shy. But when his eyes landed on Maxana, they widen amazed by how beautiful she looked. Well actually, he did find her beautiful but with a dress on, shimmering, she looked more beautiful than usual.

"Wow Leo. You look great" Maxana said amazed with a warm smile. Leo blushed pink and looked away. "Thanks. It was your dad's idea" Leo said and Shifa smiled at him.

Then the music changed to a more slow dance kinda music. Shifa looked at Max and then back to Leena and she had an idea that she was hoping would work.

"Maxana mind having our first father daughter dance?" He asked his daughter, lending his hand. Maxana smiled excited at him "Don't mind at all dad" she said happy as she grabbed his hand and the two went to join the dance.

Leo watched everyone dance but his eyes were on Maxana and her dad the whole time. He smiled at the two cats, seeing how happy they both were. 'Wow they both look really happy. Can't blame them though. They been away from eachother for so long' he thought in his head.

"Leo" Leo got out of his thoughts when Maxana called him and he suddenly found Maxana in front of him. Maxana smiled at him and had her hand out for him.

"May I have this dance Leo?" She asked him and he blushed surprised. "You want me to dance? With you?" He asked him surprised, placing his hand on his hip. Maxana smiled at him "Well yeah. I didn't save the kingdom on my own Leo. You helped me. So I owe ya" she explained to him.

Leo blushed surprised. He was actually touched that she said that to him. Leo slowly held her hand in his and he led her to the dance floor. Maxana held his hand while Leo wrapped the other around her waist and Maxana had her other hand on his shoulder.

The two danced slowly with eachother and Maxana and Leo made eye contact. Leo was still surprised that she asked him o dance with her but more surprised and touched when she explained why.

"Hey Leo?" He got out of his thoughts when he heard her voice. "Yeah?" He answered her casually. "Be honest with me. Do you think that I look OK in this dress?" She asked him and Leo was taken back by her question.

"It's just that I've never worn anything fancy like this so I thought since we're friends, I thought I ask you" she told them nervously with an awkard smile.

Leo smiled at her "I think you looked beautiful tonight Maxana" he told her warmly and she smiled at him warmly, blushing. Meanwhile, King Shifa was watching the two lions dance and he smiled at this "Looks like my plan work" he told himself as he watched them dance.
