Adopted Parents in Law

We did Max's mom. We did Leena's parents. But lets not forget Max's adopted otter parents!😄🤗

Leena was flying the Phoenix to the jungle where Max grew up. She looked over at the lion and smirked when she saw how excited he was as he looked at the window, staring at the bright blue sky.

"Excited Max?" She asked teasing, already knowing the answer. "Yes!" He answered excited. Leena shook her head smiling 'Yep I knew he was gonna say that' she said in her head.

"I can't wait to Ma and Pops about it. They'll be so happy!" He said really happy. "But Max they've your adopted parents so why wouldn't they be happy about you getting married?" She asked him playfully and Max laughed about it.

But then Max smiled warmly at Leena and put his hand on Leena's hand. She looked away from the window to Max "They'll definitely be happy to have you as part of our family" he told her with a warm smile and Leena smiled back at him. He leaned in and placed a sweet kiss on Leena's forehead before sitting back on his chair and the two cats focused on the window where they could start to see more of the jungle.

The Phoenix landed in the jungle and Max and Leena got off it and started heading to the tree that Max's parents lived in. As the two walked alonged the way, Leena looked around marveling at the lush green jungle trees and the ripe fruits and exotic flowers.

She smiled and then grinned "Yep I made the right choice" she said casually and Max looked at her puzzled. "About what?" He asked cocking his head to the side. "About having our wedding here" she told him and Max chuckled at her.

The two lions reached the tree where the otters were living. "Finally! Come on Leena!" Max said excited as he grabbed her hand and ran to the tree like a kid going to an amusement park.

"Haha ok ok" Leena chuckled at Max's excitement. Max knocked on the small wooden door. The door opened and out came Ma. The otter saw Max and she smiled to see him.

"Max!" She said happy and surprised to see him. "Ma!" Max said happy as he hugged his otter mom. "Oh hello Leena" Ma said smiling at the lioness. "Hi" Leena asnwered kindly. "Honey come here. Max is here" Ma called out and Pops showed up.

"Hey hey Max my boy" Pops said happy to see him as he joined his wife's side. "What brings you back to the jungle dear?" Ma asked curious. Max and Leena looked at each other excited and smiling.

Max looked back at his adopted parents. "Ma. Pops. Me and Leena have the biggest news ever. We are getting married!" He told them as he held Leena's hand and smiled at her sweetly before turning back to the otters.

"Gasp!" Both otters gasped and Ma smiled big and happy and Pops got so surprised, he tripped over his foot and fell.

"Oh congratulations my dear boy!" Ma said as she jumped and hugged her son. Max wrapped his arms around his mom tight. Pops stood up and walked over and looked at Max and he smiled at him. Max pulled his otter dad in the hug and Max was just so happy.

"Oh and congratulations to you too Leena" Ma said as all three broke the hug and Ma hugged Leena. Leena was surprised but touched and she hugged back the otter mom.

"So where is the wedding going to be? And when is it starting?" Ma started asking excited and Max laughed at his mom's excitement. Leena chuckled at this.

"Like mom like son huh Max?" Leena teased Max about how he was excited earlier while she placed her hands om her hips. Max smiled at her sheepishly.

"Easy Ma. The wedding is in two months and it's gonna be here in the jungle" he explained, trying to calm his adopted mom's excitement.

"How wonderful! Your father and I are so happy for you!" Ma told him and Max smiled at them. "Thanks Ma. You too Pops. I can't imagine not having you in the wedding" Max told them sincerely and warmly. He knew that his otter parents were always there for him when he was a cub. There gave him love and care and there was no way he would not have them in his wedding.

Max hughed his otter parents tightly as Leena watched but then Ma hand her out and smiled warmly at the lioness. Leena smiled and grabbed Ma's hand and was pulled into the group hug. Now the whole family was invited to the wedding.
