Say Yes to the Dress

Leena goes shopping for a wedding dress

"Wow!" Leena said excited with her eyes sparkling in excitement. Leena's wedding was two months away and the lioness was in a wedding fashion boutique in Seal Island. For her entourage, Leena brought her mom Kayla, Adira, Zinti and Bella.

Leena walked around marveling the dresses 'I know I'm not the dress kinda girl but these dresses are so beautiful!' Leena said in her head as she ran her hand on one the dresses. Adira leaned on a wall with her arms crossed, watching her friend with a smile. "Hey Leena how come you wanted to shop here but not in the Lion Kingdom?" Adira asked curious since her friend was the one that chose where to shop.

"I don't want Max to get a peek on the dress I'm gonna wear at our wedding. I want it to be a surprise" she explained turning to her friend and a placing a hand on her hip. "Smart choice" Adira commented, nodding her head in agreement.

"Hello girls" the two felines turn their attention to a seal lady wearing glasses coming up to them. "My name is Marcela. Which one of you is the bride?" She asked cheerfully "That would be me" Leena said as she realized this seal must be a wedding consultant.

"So what dress you looking for?" Marcela asked and Leena looked around, her eyes on every dress but even though they were pretty, none of them caught her attention. "I want a dress that's....me" Leena said pausing for a moment to find the word she was looking for. Leena wasn't sure what dress she wanted but she wanted it to be so her.

"Right this way" Marcela said, leading the way. Adira was gonna follow "Hold on Adira. You're not going" Leena said as she turned around tl face the snow leopard. "What? Why?" Adira asked surprised but still kept her smile on. "I don't want you to see it. I want it to be a surprise"

Adira then gave her a raised eyebrow and a sneaky smile "I thought you wanted to surprise Max" she said teasing and Leena shook her head smiling and shoved the snow leopard out of the dressing room. The lioness turned around to all the dress choices, she put her hands on her hips smiling "Ok lets get dress'en!"

Leena tried on several wedding dresses and showrd them to her entourage. She tried on a mermaid dress, long sleeve dress, princess dress and more. Her girls found Leena so beautiful in all those dresses but they can all agree that the dresses didn't yell out Leena.

Leena shut the door in her dressing room and slumped on a chair, huffing fustrated. She hadn't found the dress that was her. Leena wanted a wedding dress that showed who Leena was. She wanted it to look fierce and beautiful but not too much and also comfortable so she won't trip down the aisle.

The lioness's brown eyes spotted something that peeked her curiosty. She saw this dress that was plain and simple, lying on a table with stuff that were a work in progress. Leena stood up and walked to the dress, she ran her hand on the soft fabric and felt like this dress was in the same problem she was in. Trying to find a bride to wear it. Leena smiled feeling like this dress was meant to be.

Her eyes went to the other fabrics and accessories waiting to be used to make dresses. She grabbed some scissors and some fabric, she smiled having an idea.

"What's taking so loooong?" Adira asked annoyed and impatiently. An hour had passed since anyone had seen Leena. "Where is she? When are we gonna find a dress for her?" Adira asked slumping on the couch, her head dangling on the edge upside down. Kayla looked at her like she was a kid complaining.

"Be patient. She's just trying to find the right dress" Kayla explained and the snow leopard was going to say something but her eyes caught something and even though she saw things upside down, she was stunned by what she saw.

"Oh wow" Adira said standing up and the girls got so surprised and gasped. Leena came in wearing a dress that they never could imagine. The girls slowly started to smile at it as Leena stood and showed them the dress. Marcela showed up and was surprised to see the dress, she smiled amazed by the beauty.

"Wow! What a beautiful dress! But I don't remember having this in the shop" Marcela said perplexed as she never recalled seeing a dress like that.

"That's because I made it" Leena said and the girls had to admit, this was the dress. Leena smiled and said "Girls I am saying yes to this dress!"
