Larimar is my oc. He is a tabby tiger that lives in the jungle with Max. At first, he and Felina don't get along in Dinoterra but then they get along and eventually fall in love. Felina belongs to the show. She is NOT my oc

"Shut up! It wasn't my fault!"

"Really? You fell headfirst right in the snow, Max"

Larimar chuckled quietly, finding it rather amusing to see Max and Leena teasing each other. The gang was near the treehouse, just camping outside and relaxing. Spike and Twitch were inside making snacks while Max, Leena, Zinti, Tazer, Larimar, and Felina were out chatting by the campfire. "Hey. I think we need more firewood" Larimar commented, seeing how weak the fire was.

"Race ya, Leena! First one to some fireword wins!" The lion piped up, darting ahead without warning. "Hey! No fair, jungle boy!" Leena yelled out, managing to grab his tail and yanked him back. She took advantage of that and took the lead. Max smirked at his girlfriend, chasing after her. Tazer just shook his head with a smile.

"You know, I think I'll let Max and Leena do the flower picking" the fox remarked, having an idea of there, this will lead with the two lovelions. The tabby tiger chuuckled, understanding what the fox prince was referring to. He headed back inside with his sister, following after him to check on Spike and Twitch, making the snacks. Now it was just Larimar, and Felina.

The tabby tiger glanced his eyes at the tigress as she brought her hands to the silver hair clip holding her bun up. Larimar looked down at the ground, pondering on his thoughts about her.

After a few months from the whole dinosaur adventure, he had some mixed feelings for her. In the beginning, he was upset with the queen because of how much trouble and pain she caused for Max and the Lion Kingdom. Now, after she helped, he could see that she meant well and just wanted to help her people. He hoped that now they could be friends. Or at least be on good terms.

He glanced his green eyes back at her and found himself staring. Felina had let her hair down, and it was actually the first time Larimar so her with her hair out. It was long, going down to her waist. Felina brushed her fingers through her hair, combing through it to find any knots.

"Wow"

Her ears perked at Larimar speaking, and turned her face to him, finding an awestruck look on his face. His face heated up, realizing his error got him caught. He didn't know what to do except just stared at a puzzled Felina.

"Excuse me?" She asked him on what he was referring to, frowning at him. "I uh..." he said nervously, coughing to clear his voice and get his tone back. It's just...I never seen you with your hair down before" he told her honestly, and Felina's eyes widen, slightly surprised at that comment.

She only meant to let her down to brush it a bit. "Do you prefer if I put it back up?" She asked him, not really sure how to react to that. She had a strict childhood, so she wasn't experienced in socializing.

"No. I actually think you look nice with your hair out" he reasoned, making her more suprised. It sounded like a compliment. Her striped cheeks were tinted with pink, and she knew she was blushing because she felt the heat on her face.

"How so?" She asked him, wanting to know what he was thinking. Felina wanted to be on good terms with Larimar ever since the who dinosaur adventure. The tiger wasn't expecting her to press him further for answers.

"Well, I guess it just makes you more....seen I want to say" he said, motioning with his hand to find the right words. But he was being honest. Looking at her, the way her hair was down made her seem more relaxed. The way that it was always in a high bun made her seem so refined yet strict.

Felina glanced down, not sure how to respond to that. It didn't sound like an insult. It was honest, and genuine. She wasn't sure how to feel at this point, and her fingers pushed back the curly strands that would always hang in front of her face. She was nervous, and decided to stay quiet.

However, that move caught Larimar's attention. It's when he noticed how those strands covered part of her face which didn't sit well with him. It was like a veil that hid her face from him.

Standing up, he walked over to her, and knelt down in front of her, which surprised the white tigress. Felina eyed cautiously, wondering what he was up to. He could sense her uneasiness, and just gave an assuring smile.

"Can I try something?" He asked her, raising his hand slowly in front of her face without further proceeding until he was sure she was ok with it. Felina stared at him, unsure for a while, trying to read his intentions. His blue eyes, however, held some warmth in them and had this shimmer in them. She wasn't sure if it was from the campfire reflecting on his eyes or if it was natural.

She nodded to him, which made his smile perk up and it got him a little excited. He wasn't sure why, but he was. His fingers skimmed the strands of hair from the left side of her face. Once the strands were pushed behind her ears, he accidentally touched her face which made her flinch at his touch.

"Sorry" he said, noticing that, but she shook her head at him. "No. It's alright. You meant well" she said calmly, but suddenly that touch returned, and it wasn't a tiny little skim. Felina suddenly felt Larimar  gently trace the stripes on her cheeks. Her blue eyes met his soft green ones, puzzled.

"You know, you have beautiful stripes. And, I think you look even more beautiful when your face is showing more. It brings out those blue eyes" he explained to her, noting how the color reminded him of the waterfalls in the jungle. Bright. Vibrant. Stunning.

Felina felt her cheeks heating up more, not sure what to say or do. But she felt her mouth form into a gentle smile. A genuine smile. No one has ever said words like that to her.

Larimar's smile grew warmer, thinking how she should smile more because of how beautiful it was. It made him wonder if this was what the real Felina was like.

"Hey guys! We're back!"

The tigers' ears perked up when they heard Max and Leena's voice. In an instant, Larimar zoomed back to his original spot and landed clumsily. Felina covered her mouth to hide her giggle, finding that humorous.

"We brought the rest of the firewood" Leena said as the two placed the firewood down. Larimar and Felina glanced back at eachother shyly. But then the tiger queen made a bold move and went to sit next to him. He looked at her, confused as she gave him a soft smile. "Thank you" she told him, referring to his compliment. He looked at her surprised but smile warmly. Both could see this was a good start for them.
