Laundry Mishap

Leena's outfit was blue in the first season. But then it switched to red in other seasons. I got a funny idea for how this happens 🤣

Leena was in the laundry room in the palace. "Finally! Now with the kingdom restored, I could finally take nice shower. I smell like jungle and sewer water" Leena commented relieved as she threw her blue vest, gloves, pants and boots inside the washer machine. The thing she wore waa her white shirt and some dark blue sweat pants. She put the soap on and turned the washer.

"Sigh now time to relax in a nice long shower" Leena stretching her arms before walking off to get a shower so that later she could get later wear her nice dry and warm blue clothes...or so she thought.

While Leena took her shower,
Twitch and Spike were running into the laundry room throwing red paint balls at eachother. "Come back here you two!" Max called out, chasing after them. He was playing too. Max tried to catch them by lunging at them but the two quickly scattered. Twitched jumped on top of the washer and Max quickly lunged at him.

But the clever chameleon latched his tail on the lid and opened it. Max's stomach hit the washer and half his body fell inside the washer...good thing it wasn't his face hitting the lid.

Max turned around only to have a paint ball hit his face, the red paint was splattered on his face. "Hey!" Max complained smiling as he got ready to face them. Only he didn't know that the washer stopped working when the lid was opened.

"Take that Max!" Twitch said and threw a red paint ball at him. Max moved to the right and then he moved to the left. "Ha ha!" Max boasted as Twitch and Spike started throwing the paint balls super fast and the lion kept dodging them, jumping and even spinning and ducking down to avoid getting splattered.

The hedgehog and chameleon were getting tired and dropped to the floor, their arms sore from throwing. Max looked inside the washer for a moment but then he gasped in shock and looked back inside.

"Uh oh" he said and even though his best friends were tired, they could hear the alarm in his voice. Leena's blue clothes were now stained in red paint. "Oh no. No no no no!" Max said, starting to panic as his hands reached in and grabbed the clothes, trying to remove the red paint off with his hands.

Twitch and Spike lifted their heads up surprised when they saw the problem. "Argh! It's not coming off!" Max groaned panic as he held up the vest now red. "Leena's gonna kill us!" Spike said as he hid behind Twitch, panicking.

Max ran a hand threw his mane "um ok ok um..." his eyes scanned for a solution and they spotted the dryer. "The dryer! Maybe that can dry the paint off!" Max suggested as he opened the dryer and threw the vest inside. Twitch and Spike helped Max put everything else inside and Max closed the dryer and turned it on.

"I hope this works" he said as he and his friends ran out the washroom and made their way to the library. A few minutes passed but the three boys were hoping their idea would work. Or they would be facing an angry lioness right now.

"If the dryer doesn't work, maybe we can paint Leena's clothes blue and she'll never know" Twitch suggested. "Hey is Leena still in the shower?" Spike asked curious but before Max and Twitch can answer...

"AAAAAAAAH!"

The three boys jumped on their feet, alarmed from that an angry scream. "I think she finished" Max said wide eyed. Suddenly they heard angry stomping foot steps and BAM!

Leena bursted into the library angry, holding her now dry red clothes, her hair was still soaking wet and loose because she was planning to wear her blue clothes first after the shower.

"Who did this?!" She asked furious as she marched over to the three boys, teeth clenched and her tail moving furious. Twitch and Spike hid behind Max as the lioness came right up to his face growling that even Max was intimidated.

"It wasn't us Leena!" He lied, denying mostly cause she was scaring him but she wasn't fooled. Her eyes glared at him " Then why is there red paint on your face?" She asked angry and Max's eyes widen. His eyes looked at the reflection of his lion amulet and he saw the red paint was still there.

'Uh oh' he said in his head. He chuckled nervously at her. Leena growled at him angry, looking like she was gonna explode. Max held his hands up in defense "ok ok calm down. I know it looks bad but come on. It actually looks better than before. I think red is a nice color on you" Max tried to reason with her but the last part he said got Leena interested.

She looked at her now red clothes, thinking. "Wait here" she told him firmly before running off. The three boys stood there clueless for two minutes and looked at eachother, blinking.

Max's ears twitched at hearing footsteps and he turned around and his eyes widen. Leena came back wearing her now red outfit minus her white shirt and her hair was in its usual ponytail. Max blushed a bit. Red really was her color. It really brought Leena out.

"Wow" he said amazed. "Max was right. Red is a nice color" Spike commented. Leena looked at herself in a big mirror in the library. She smiled to herself. She actually liked the color.

"Ok I'll let this slide" she told before walking off. The three boys fell on the floor, breathing out in relief.
