“Did you prepare this?”
Dumako ang tingin ko sa center table kung saan nakalagay ang mga libro inihanda ko kanina para sa researcher niya.
“Oh my!”she exclaimed.“Hey,you have prepared this much for me?”
Kaagad na naupo ito sa floor mat habang ang tingin niya nasa mga printed picture about the catholic background,we have a similarity and difference in the religion.
I nodded. “Yes,while waiting for you to come.”
“That's awesome!”
“I'm the person who does everything enthusiastically and seriously. ”
Nag-thumbs-up siya sa akin. “Good.It's indeed a right decision to ask for your help.”
Umalis ako sa pagkakasandal sa sofa at inilapit ang mukha ko dito habang ang tingin ay nasa mga printed picture sa center table,bigla itong humarap sa akin dahil upang manlaki ang mata niya ng matagpuan ang sariling i-isang dangkal na lang sa isa't-isa kaagad niyang iniwas ang tingin niya.
I'm not planning to kissed nor do that make her uncomfortable her but I want to make sure some things on her.
“What are you doing?”
“I want to look into your eyes.”
Hinawakan ko ang baba niya at iginala ang paningin sa mukha niya saka tumuon sa mga mata niya ipinatong ko ang kaliwang kamay sa sofa para mas mapag-aral pa ang mukha niya.
“What for?”
“Father Louis say looking into each other eyes.When you look into woman eyes deeply,you can see your future with her.”mahinahon na sabi ko.
She immediately blink with full of question in her eyes.“What do you see in my eyes.”
I want to say that I'm not going to let you go from me and I will make her falling in love with me.But there's a part of me wants to ignored this feeling that I feel towards to her.
“I can see that... without makeup. You would be very ugly.”I teased her, umingos na tinabig niya ang kamay na nakahawak sa mukha nito.
She frowned at me. “Watch your words. I'm gorgeous with or without makeup up. ”
“Stop whining let's get started. ”
Nakanguso na sinimulan ko ibaba ang bag niya sa gilid at kumuha ng notes at ang laptop para sa mga research niya.
“This is our saint bartholomew, Peter, Andrew, James, John, Philip, Matthew, Thomas, James, Simon, thaddeus, Judas.”
Sinulyapan ko ito habang ang tingin niya nasa libro, isinulat naman niya ang main ideas na gagamitin sa research paper.
“Bakit may mga relics kayo niya?The God rules is don't make your own lords that made on woodenware.”
I gasped.“We are different believe about God but in the catholic,we just use them as a respect.”
Sinang-ayunan naman niya ang sinabi ko,I know there religion is based on the Holy Bible and the words of God. Which is God but I respect her religion and I hope she respect what's mine.
“Kaya pala meron kayong mga rebulto sa buong simbahan,I wonder why you have them. Maybe this is the reason why we have so many religion.”paliwanag pa niya sa bago humarap muli sa isinusulat niya sa notes.
Pinagmasdan ko lang ito habang nagsusulat ito.“Why are you so fascinating about my religion?”
“I'm just fascinating because of the handsome sacristan.”she giggling at the same time.
