Kasintahan

“Mateo?Kinakabahan ako sa ginagawa mo?Nasaan ka ba?”

Dahan-dahan kong hinawakan ang kamay niya na parang nangangapa sa dilim,iginaya ito papunta sa gitna ng puso na gawa sa candle glass.  I want to make it special every year of our relationship even how busy she is, she can't remember it I will be here to remind her every year of our life.

I grabbed the cake and then stepped forward to her.“Open your eyes My queen.”

Lihim akong napangiti ng makita ang mukha niya  na pinagmamasdan ang paligid namin,tanging led lights ang nagsisilbing ilaw dito. Dahil mahilig siya sa mga star ay nilagyan ko ng colored paper na may hugis star ang mga butas nuon,led lights ang ginamit ko upang mag-reflect iyon sa buong bahay.

Tiningala niya iyon.“Tinupad mo talaga ang sinabi ko sa iyo, siguro nahirapan ka habang ginagawa mo ito.”

“I can do anything if you are the reason of this, because I can't do it in the other woman. Just in you.”I replied kindly then looked up to the stars that I made.

Kaagad na kinuha niya ang kamay ko.“And I appreciate it thank you I  never been so happy like this, maybe I'm not lucky in my parents but I'm so lucky to have you. In everyday that God give us there's no time that you didn't make me happy even,we are apart from each sometimes you always there.”

“From the day that I get you I promised to myself that I will make you happy and healthy.”I continue then chuckled.“Kahit minsan ay wala ako sa tabi mo kapag may problema ka sorry kung pasaway ako minsan sa iyo.”

Idinaan lang niya sa pagngiti iyon.“Okay lang dahil natutuwa ako kapag nagiging pasaway ka sa akin ka lang naman ganiyan.”

“Happy anniversary blow the cake.”I suggested to her and she did.

Nasa sahig pa ang mga balloons at mga petals nuon nasa veranda kami kung saan nakaset ang table para sa amin, it's looked like a restaurant in black theme with candle on the table and also the champagne for us.

May iniabot ito sa akin na navy blue box sa akin.“This is my gift for you,I hope you like it.Pinag-ipunan ko iyan mula sa mga baon ko ayokong ako lang ang lagi mong binibigyan ng regalo gusto ikaw din.”

Naglakad kami patungo sa table at inilapag ang cake duon habang hawak ang box na iyon,kahit maliit na bagay iyon sa kaniya pakiramdam ko ay sobrang especial ako para sa kaniya.Tinapunan ko siya ng tingin bago binuksan ang box na iyon,isa iyong silver bracelet with the pendant of heart beat.

“Thank you Mahal ko.”

“Sabi nila kapag soulmate mo ang isang tao dapat bigyan mo siya niyan.”

I smiled.I pretended to think about it. We laughed quietly, holding on toeach other. In these moments, it was soeasy to picture this being the rest of mylife.

“You believe on that?”I said.

The rustle of leaves and grassannounced that someone was coming.Even though our date was completelyacceptable, I felt a little embarrassed
and looked at her.

“Are you ready Ma'am and Sir?”

I offered my hand. She took it, watching the happiness in her eyes. “Why are you here Carlo?Why are you wearing waiter uniform?”

He gave us a bow.“This is my job today as Mateo friend and also for you. I will be your waiter for tonight.”

“I know Mateo blackmailing you to obey right?”she asked.

I turned back to her.“Mahal, don't mind Carlo. He offered to help me out.”

“Mateo was right in exchange he will give so of your meal tonight.”Carlo explained the guide us in our table.“This way Ma'am and Sir.”
