Nagpatawag ng pagtitipon ang mga namumuno sa bawat houses dito sa Chimera.

It has been so long since the last time that they called us for a meeting. There is no activity, and I haven't really met any members of it except for my friends. The reason why I thought the houses were just for display is that it's not functioning.

"I heard there will be a school festival," Archer said, really? Why so sudden? Is that what the meeting is for?

Nag-uusap kami habang papunta sa function hall, doon kasi magaganap ang pagtitipon. Nauna na sila Melissa sa amin habang kami ni Archer ay nagpahuli, nagpasama pa kasi siya sa akin sa silid aklatan.

"Yeah, this happens annually, but I think the event this year is bigger." I looked at him.

"How did you know?" He stopped walking and put his hand in his pocket as he glanced at me.

"I heard them talk about the budget allocated for the event." I smiled, that's really his forte, to eavesdrop. I shook my head, he's lucky no one caught him.

I remembered when we first met, I was so annoyed at him that time for listening to my conversation with Miss Laura.

I started to walk. "Tara na nga."

We were already near the hall when he whispered something, "I think there's something with this event but I'm not quite sure what it is." Kinunutan ko siya ng noo.

I don't also feel good about this but I never opened it to anyone. Hindi lang pala ako ang nakakaramdam.

"I know, I thought I'm the only one who noticed it. After months of being inactive, they will just organize an event, it's suspicious." Tila nag iisip naman siya.

"Let's keep our eyes open." Pumasok na kami sa loob at hinanap sila Melissa. We found her right away. We are supposed to go where she is but a man stopped Archer.

"Dalton, who's that chick with you?" Tinignan ko ng masama ang lalake. "What a pity you're with a Dalton, you're better with me." What a pity my ass, and I'm better with him? Dream on.

Nakangisi ito sa akin at kumindat. He's acting coolly and even chewing gum. Ang yabang, ang sarap balian ng leeg. I kept my composure even if I just wanted to smack him right at this moment.

Hinarap siya ni Archer at salubong ang mga kilay na tinignan ito. Unadulterated anger is evident on his face. "If you don't want me to stitch your mouth watch your words, Leon, it's my sister you're talking about."

Tinignan ko siya dahil sa tinawag niya sa akin. Well, I consider him as my brother too, but I wasn't expecting him to say that. Nonetheless, I was happy, he's more than just a cousin for me.

"Okay, chill," that Leon said and raised both his hand. Ibinaling naman nito ang tingin niya sa akin at kumindat ulit. There's something with this man that's making my blood boil. His face is so annoying.

"If you want your eyeballs intact stop winking at me it's sickening," I told him and turned my back on them. I even heard some whoa from his friend but I didn't bother looking back.

What a jerk? Makalipas ang ilang minuto ay sumunod na rin sa akin si Archer.

"Who's that?" Tumingin siya sa likod namin bago niya ako sinagot.

"Leon Puebles, a son of one of the most prominent sorcerers here," sagot ni Archer, I see.

"Don't worry, he won't bother you anymore."

"Thanks, brother," I said instead, which made him laugh.

"Ang tagal niyo," Melissa commented. Mag isa lang kasi niya. Anton, Harriet, and Joaquin are in the House of Bheithir.
