A/N: This is based in 1776, and when King George sings 'you'll be back' but that will be in part 1. The meaning will also be changed. All will  come together when you read.

Dear Mon trésor,
I hope you are well, or as well as you can be in the hands of the king. We have planned the escape route, and on the 6th day of the 6th month, we will be waiting in the forest where we discussed last time, until we hear the bell when you break the news and run. We will then move forward, behind the royal guards upon the bridge. If they attempt to take you out and to the dungeons to await execution, we will move forward. Just keep resisting. My love, take your time. We will wait here until the daylight comes. Out of sight. You will escape that man. We will be waiting right here for you. On this day, you'll go down in history for the best reason for you. Our dear friend Monsieur Hamilton will write whatever you please if you feel you can't write it down. And England's monarch will go down for what he deserves. I will see you on this sundown, and burn the letters before you go, on the crackling fire in your chambers. Ensure every part is burned, we need no trace for the sake of what we have planned. I will see you then, at sundown.
Je t'aime.
~Marquis de Lafayette

Y/N sat at her desk reading the letter from Lafayette,  the one that she'd read so many times. And every time, a wave of nervousness flooded her mind. After years of being under the control of  the king, a man who was over double her age. She was 19, and he was 38. She wanted to be with someone her age, someone she truly loved, and she just wanted to be free. That man was Marquis de Lafayette.

The two of them met when she had travelled to the US to do some spy business work for King George III and met Lafayette, and they kept in touch. He eventually found out why she was over in the US, and not just for 'business.' After he found out, he didn't write to her for months, but then he eventually wrote back and ever since then, things have been going well. And now she's going to see him in an escape plan where it could be potentially the last time they see each other if even one little thing goes wrong that wasn't meant to happen.

Y/N dressed in her red, gold and white dress which was always required when dining with the king. "Is the plan going to happen tonight?" Her servant, Elise asked and Y/N nodded nervously, then inhaled sharply as Elise tightened her corset.
"Yes. Tonight, at sundown. I will not eat, I will just say I've not an appetite. He will not try force me. If I eat I won't be able to run without getting sick." Y/N laughed then as Elise tied the corset, Y/N's face fell and she turned to Elise. "Please, come with me. It's what you deserve."

"I can't miss, you know that." Elise sighed and Y/N held her shoulders.
"Please. All you get is abuse, and used and no respect. Run away with me, what do you have to leave behind? All that's going to happen is you're going to get locked up because that monster will think you've planned this with me."
"No, it's your life you need to go live. The dungeon is what I deserve. I am just a servant after all. I am to know my place."
"Your place is out there! Free and living a true life."

After a while of trying to convince Elise, she gave up and got escorted to the dining room where she would sit by the door at one end of the long table, and George would sit at the other end. "Close the doors." King George stated and Y/N cut him off.
"No. Can we have them open? I'd like a bit of air today, I'm not feeling at the top of my game."
"Anything for you dear. Leave us." George stated and began stuffing his face, not paying any attention or talking to Y/N.
"I'd like to speak to you."
