Y/N rushed into the classroom where Umbridge was stood at the front and quickly took her seat beside Draco, resting her head in her hands on the table. Of course, as soon as she did so Umbridge had to make a comment. "Excuse me Miss Y/L/N, why are you wearing a Slytherin robe when I know for a fact you're a Y/H/N?" She asked and Y/N looked down at her robe then at Draco, who was wearing Y/N's robe. He looked up at her with a wide smirk on his face.

Y/N turned to Draco and the two of them held back a laugh. "This could be an issue." Y/N said with a small laugh and Draco shrugged, smirking.
"Nah, I don't mind. As long as everyone knows you're mine."
"Y/L/N! Malfoy! Detention!"
Draco was at detention early because Umbridge thought he was going to skip and dragged him there by the robe. The right robe. Y/N knocked on the door and walked in, Umbridge nodding towards the seat beside Draco who was sat up, happy to see Y/N. And so he wasn't there by himself with Umbridge.

Umbridge walked to her office and Draco leaned towards her, putting his arm around her shoulders. "How about we get out of here and we exchange robes again?"
"Draco you know for a fact we would get into trouble again if we got caught."
"That was a statement love, not a question... don't make me make you." He mumbled as Umbridge walked back out. Y/N looked at her and grabbed Draco's hand, making a run for the door as Umbridge tried to run after them but failed miserably in her pink skirt and heels.
"Get back here this instant you two!"

"It's fun being bad don't you think?" He chuckled as he grabbed her waist to stop himself and her. He ran a hand through Y/N's hair and kissed her passionately. When he heard people in a nearby corridor he leaned against her ear. "Quiet." He whispered and walked in another direction to where he heard the people. After the two of them snuck around for a while, they made their way to the great hall to eat with their friends. At the doors, Draco kissed her quickly and Y/N walked towards Hermione, Ron and Ginny.

"What the hell Y/N?" She laughed and Y/N grinned widely.
"He kissed me!" She cheered and Hermione nodded.
"I see that, but... look." Hermione sighed and nodded towards Harry who was sat at the end of the table by himself and Cedric who was sat across from him, both looking heartbroken, clearly from seeing Draco kiss Y/N.
"I know I just- I think I love him Hermione."
"And I'm glad, I really am but just you know, be careful with him. It is Malfoy after all."
Cedric walked towards the two and tapped Y/N on the shoulder, leading her outside into a quieter place.

"I like you, and you know that." Cedric said and Y/N sighed.
"I'm sorry Cedric, but it's Draco. It always has been hasn't it? We both know that."
"Malfoy can't be trusted-"
"Jesus Christ Cedric! Can't you just be happy for me for once? That's all I ask, for years this has been going on and has it ever changed anything?!" Y/N laughed through her tears of annoyance and Cedric shook his head.
"Whatever Y/L/N."

The following Saturday, Y/N stretched in her bed and got ready to go and meet Hermione and Draco, putting on a simple black spaghetti strap belly top and some camo trousers with some trainers as it was quite warm outside. First she met Hermione, and they had agreed to meet Draco by the courtyard. As they walked down the corridor, Y/N heard a girl laugh Draco's name out loud and the two walked around the corner to see Pansy and Draco rather close, fooling around. Suddenly, the two leaned in and began to kiss in plain sight of Hermione and Y/N.

Y/N's breath hitched as tears filled her eyes, and she barged past them knocking Pansy to the side. Hermione called after her, and Draco turned to face Y/N about to leave Pansy where she was and go after Y/N. However, Pansy grabbed his sleeve. "Draco leave her. She's not it is she? You have me!" She giggled and Draco glared at her and when he ran in the direction of Hermione and Y/N and looked around, she was nowhere to be seen. Y/N had ran to the training fields and turned to Hermione who just hugged her.

"I just don't get it. I thought we had something, and for gods sakes he didn't even come after me..." Y/N cried and Hermione sighed sympathetically.
"I told you to be careful. That's just Draco hun." She said and suddenly Ron ran from across the field.
"Hermione! Come to Hogsmeade with me next weekend. You know for Valentine's Day? And we can go on a date!" He asked with some confidence and Hermione looked towards Y/N who just nodded, encouraging Hermione to go towards Ron and she nodded yes to him as she walked.

As Y/N zoned out, Harry walked over to her and walked with her back up to the castle. "Hey Y/N, how about you come with me next weekend? Maybe not as a... date. But we can get some nice drinks and stuff?"
"Yeah... that sounds nice." Y/N nodded with a small smile and looked over at Draco who was laughing with his friends, not looking any less positive than normal. She shook it off and walked in the castle with Harry.
"I'm sorry about what happened with him... you didn't deserve it."
"Don't apologise Harry, I did it to myself when I got with him."

In potions, Y/N was working with Hermione on the same table as Pansy who was bragging about how Draco had asked her out to Hogsmeade, looking up and smirking towards Y/N every so often, like she knew it was affecting Y/N as bad at it was. But she didn't know half of it. She didn't know truly how much it was affecting her. When the class finished, Y/N walked straight out to the corridor after collecting her things. She wanted away from Pansy, but she was faced with someone worse.
