Next up was another date with Draco, and he had called Y/N out of the common room so he could speak to her. "You need to put something warm on today. We'll be going out soon. I'll be waiting here for you." He said leaning against the bannister and flipping some hair out of his face. Y/N walked back in and got changed into something warm. She put on a black hoodie with some thick leggings and brushed her hair, grabbing her coat before walking out to meet Draco.
The two of them walked to Hogsmeade in the snow, and they walked off track to a cute quiet area. "You look cute Y/N." Draco stated quickly and Y/N blushed, looking back at him.
"You don't look too bad yourself Draco." She said and threw a snowball at Draco causing his jaw to drop.
"You're gonna regret that." He laughed picking up some snow and creating a ball, throwing it at Y/N. They ended up closer each time, and Draco suddenly grabbed Y/N's face and kissed her passionately. "I didn't regret that."
The next day, Cedric saw Y/N in the courtyard and called her over. "Hey Y/N! Come here." He said with a smile. But the smile soon dropped as she got close. "I need to speak to you about Draco."
"Yeah... what's up?" She asked and Cedric opened his mouth to speak but closed it as he looked behind Y/N, causing her to turn around.
"Drop the act Cedric, you'll never get her." Draco said and Cedric looked towards Y/N with a sigh.
"Is it true?"
"Is what true?"
"Don't act dumb Y/N."
"Don't deny it Y/N, you know it's true."
Then it clicked. That day after the date, Y/N went back to Draco's dorm and it escalated from there. She looked up at Cedric and sighed. "Cedric... I don't know how it happened I promise. It just... happened."
"And just when I thought I could trust you." Cedric laughed in annoyance but his facial expression soon turned to pain. "Don't talk to me anymore."
"Cedric please-"
"Come now Y/N, don't be sad. You have me now. It's just you and me."
"I don't want you!" Y/N cried and ran back to her common room, sliding against the door in the corner.
Harry quickly heard the sobs and ran towards her out from his dormitory, pulling her into a hug. "Y/N what happened? Is it something to do with Cedric and Draco?"
"Yeah... I like them both but Cedric pulled me to one side and confronted me about what happened with Draco and then he stormed off. Then I told Draco I don't want him anymore but I just- I don't know what to do or what I want. I don't know who I am right now, so how can I decide what I want?"
"You're a very complicated person Y/N and we all know that don't we?" He joked causing a weak laugh to leave Y/N's lips. "I'll get Hermione. She will know how to help you better with girl problems." He said and went to get her, but the door opened in his face revealing Hermione. "Oh Hermione, just the person we're looking for-"
"They're fighting worse than normal! Come quick!" Hermione panicked and Y/N got up, following behind Harry who was running while holding her hand behind him.
When they got to the courtyard, Hermione cast some spell to throw each of them to either side of the courtyard causing everyone to go silent as they saw Y/N stood there. "Stop it the both of you!" Hermione shouted causing Cedric and Draco to look at her, Y/N and Harry. "Will you stop being idiots and just let Y/N choose who she wants to be with? You both get one more day with her and by the end of the week she will choose, yes?" Hermione said and exhaled looking at Y/N who just nodded slowly looking at everyone stood around.
"Easy... don't go crying when she chooses me Diggory." Draco smirked and Cedric nodded with a confident look on his face.
"You wish Malfoy. We'll see." He said walking off and Draco watched him, putting his bag back on his shoulder.
"Oh god..." Y/N mumbled under her breath. Hermione took her hand and walked her back to the common room, Harry following closely behind and when they got inside, Y/N broke down on the couch in front of the fire. The only sounds being the crackling of the fire, Y/N's sobs and her friends words of comfort.
"I know exactly what you need to do. You need to come with us. And by us I mean me, Ron, Harry, Luna and anyone else, and we need to go to Hogsmeade. We need to have a nice day out and forget about all the nonsense that has happened in these past few days. Then me and you need a girly night and forget about them two. You don't need them. You don't need to find your true feelings right now. Do you know what you need right now?" Hermione asked and Y/N looked at her confused until she felt a hand grab hers.
"You need to find yourself. Your happy, confident, strong, beautiful self that we all know and love. Find yourself before finding out anything else. Baby steps is the answer to everything and it will be for a while. Until you're happy and have your head straight, baby steps is the best option."
"But I'm a teenager and I'm stupid for letting this get too out of hand. I should be taking adult steps!"
"At least you're not crawling. Now come on, I believe us three have a walk to go on, and a gamekeeper to visit if I recall correctly?"
