A/N: To those who aren't aware, in the Harry Potter fandom, Tom Riddle is a character that is actually Voldemort's son, not Voldemort himself.
So Tom and Mattheo are the sons of Voldemort and Bellatrix's (non-romantic) relationship.
A/N II: All credit to shameless for this scene.

The battle of Hogwarts was finally over. The good and bad separated into their own sides. Y/N was the daughter of Voldemort and Bellatrix, sister of Tom and Mattheo. As she watched Bellatrix's face when Harry pulled out his wand, her heart dropped. She never wanted this, her and her brothers to be forced to be death eaters even though they knew growing up, that they'd have no choice.

Y/N was pulled back into reality from her thoughts as the elder wand flew into Harry's hand. Voldemorts eyes dropped to Harry's height, before his robe began to break away bit by bit. Soon enough, so had his body. A scream echoed around the schools courtyard as both sides stood still, in silence. Y/N squeezed Tom and Mattheo's hand as they watched their father fall to pieces. Looking around, all the death eaters were either dead or had apparated, except for the trio of Riddle kids.

After apparating back to the Malfoy manor, Tom had gone to shower and Mattheo had locked himself in his room. Draco was the only other person besides Y/N in the manor. Walking to the living room where Draco sat, Y/N knocked before walking in and sitting on the sofa across from Draco. "Y/N, how are you?" Draco asked cautiously and she shrugged.
"I'm okay, kind of lost but at the same time, fully aware of where I need to be."
"That's good I guess..."
"Draco can I speak to you?"
"Of course, whatever you feel you need to speak about."

Shuffling in her seat, Y/N looked down before taking a breath.
"I'm thinking maybe it's time for me to go."
"Go?"
"Leave. Move somewhere else away from all of this." Y/N fiddled with her fingers as the silence filled the room.
"You should go." Draco perked up. Y/N was taken back by the sudden assurance.
"Wait what?"
"You should get out. You deserve it. Leave and get as far away as humanly possible." Draco held onto Y/N's hands as she broke eye contact. He squeezed her hands.
"You were hoping I'd talk you out of it weren't you?"
"...Kind of... I'm scared." She teared up.
"But are you happy?"
"No."
"Then go. Leave. Happiness is more important than fear. Have you not learned that after everything?"

Y/N left the room after kissing the top of Draco's hands. She ran to her room and began to pack all of her things into her briefcase.
"Hey Y/N?" Y/N heard Mattheo's voice from outside the door.
"I'm kind of busy."
"Look I need to speak to you."
"I'm busy Matty." She called. Looking up, she saw in his eyes, that Mattheo's heart dropped when he saw the suitcase.

"What are you doing?"
"I'm leaving, moving on."
"You can't do that."
"Are you gonna try and stop me?" She looked up with a sad, sorry smile on her face. Mattheo's eyes welled up and he ran to Tom's room where he was getting ready. He burst through the door and Tom turned to him, irritated.
"What do you wan- wait, what's wrong?" Tom's face softened and Mattheo pointed out the door.
"Y/N's leaving. She's in her room packing up all her shit right now."
"What?" Tom looked confused and pushed past Mattheo, stopping by Y/N's room.

"Look if you've come to try and stop me, don't bother. I'll probably turn back around before I even make it to Kings Cross." Y/N glanced at Tom while packing the final lot of her things. She leaned on the suitcase and smiled sadly, again.
"No you won't." Tom nodded and Y/N's lip trembled. She walked up to Tom and they shared a long, tight hug. Y/N pulled back from her young brother and held his shoulders with tears in her eyes.
"Look after him for me, will you?"
"Always."
"Promise?"
"I promise." Tom whispered and wiped a tear before leaving the room.

When the staircase was clear, Y/N snuck out the door, no words spoken to anyone. She walked down the long entrance, towards the road before turning in the direction she needed to go in to get to the station.

It was time to move on.
